Number-one New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac — the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut’s premier wedding planning companies.
Laurel McBane has always relied on her friends for support, especially when her dream of attending culinary school was almost ruined by her parents’ financial problems. Now Laurel is repaying the kindness of her friends by creating extravagantly luscious tiers of cakes and other confectionary delights that add the perfect touch to their clients’ weddings.
As for romance, Laurel believes in it — in theory. But she’s too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that other women seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker’s older brother, Delaney Brown, on whom Laurel has had a mega-crush since childhood.
But some infatuations last longer than others, and Laurel is convinced that the Ivy League lawyer is still out of her reach. Plus, Del is too protective of Laurel to ever cross the line with her, or so she thinks. When Laurel’s quicksilver moods get the better of her — leading to an angry, hot, altogether mind-blowing kiss with Del — she’ll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever….

"Passion erupts, but will they be able to make it last? Laurel's tart fairy tale romance offers few surprises, but it's impossible to deny Roberts's flair for sketching likable couples." (Publishers Weekly)
out of all the books in this series this chick is the dumbest one out of the four and me and my wife at one point voted for her to fail and not get a happy ending because she barely deserves one
the plot was too predictable, I found it quite boring and gave up before it was finished
this author will be approached with caution if at all when purchasing in the future
Yes, the performance was fine,I believe I was disappointed with the author.
I absolutely loved the third book in the series. I listen to the books when I hike and they're interesting enough to make the hike go fast, and keep me from noticing the heat. The ending of this book was extremely touching I even had tears in my eyes as I was hiking down the mountain. Well done, very well done.
I liked the story a lot; it kept me entertained the entire time. But I thought the audio got way too quiet sometimes and I kept having to adjust the volume in my car.
For anyone who is looking for a fun, relatable and engaging series, the Bride Quartet series is one to read! Nora Roberts does an amazing job engaging the read within the first chapter of each book. And because it follows each woman in the quartet, each story is different and follows each of their quirks.
I have to say, I have listened to the Bride Quartet series too many times it borders on obsession! But "Savor the Moment" is hands down my favorite book in this series.
There is just something about this series that will always be my favorite.
I would indeed. The Narrator Angela certainly made it a very enjoyable experience. I'm excited to listen to it again in the future.
The scene with the HJS and all of the tension while our couple is working out in chapter 13. May have had to listen to it twice haha.
Laurel and Delaney are my favorite pair out of the whole series. Especially Laurel who from the beginning of the story we find out has more sarcastic one liner self usually shows.
Loved the Bride Quartet series, but this was definitely my least favorite. Helps flesh out the series, and I'm glad I read it before book 4, but was lacking compared to the others in the series.
I love the relationship with Laurel and her friends.
When Laurel kisses Delaney for the first time
I enjoy Angela Dawe reading she get into her characters wonderfully
I love this series
