Um yeah...its hardcore and hot...no pun intended!!

Ok ok...so I have noticed this book has been compared to Sons of Anarchy and since I am a true S.O.A. fan I am going to have to disagree...and my disagreement is not necessarily a bad thing. I say this because S.O.A is seriously hardcore and kick ash. And while Reaper's Property was a good listen, it does not compare to S.O.A. It has the same elements of course because it is a biker club but that is where the similarities end. Not being a party pooper but just so you come in with realistic expectations.

Now with that being said, I still enjoyed the book. It was pretty steamy. It definitely kept my attention. Had some pretty sweet moments. A nice bit of action. And lots and lots of sex going on. But I tell you the storyline was good. The way it played out was pretty awesome. I enjoyed it and would listen to the series.

What I didn't like? The bikers names. I mean this was just lame and not to sound as sexist as the men in the book but I mean come on! Naming these men "Horse" and "Picnic" sounds like something a pretty feminine woman would come up with. And duh I'm a woman but geesh really? That was cornballs. In my opinion there was some pretty weird rough porn going on. Also, some of the dialogue was pretty lame. I mean there were some statements made that just do not sound realistic. Also, I did not feel the love and connection truly brewing between the two characters. I feel like that aspect could have been developed better. Lastly, the narration was ok. I think I have been pretty spoiled by some of my favs. And I am not saying Stella was bad but most of her men sounded like pretty normal women and her "Horse" voice sounded like me beefing my voice up to sound like a man.

Ok so bottom line. I liked the book. Yes I would recommend it for a credit or for cash because even with the few things I didn't like I really, really wanted to listen to the full story in one sitting. I mean it was good. I think I have just been spoiled by Sons of Anarchy and it is pretty hard to compete with that. For those of you who are against pretty intense, descriptive sex scenes you may want to shy away from this one. For the rest of you floozies like me go ahead and push play!

Great surprise!!!

This was a very enjoyable story, which surprised me. Story was interesting, likable characters, sexual tension, great sex scenes. Very happy with this selection and well worth a credit. I will be looking for more by this author!

Outstanding! I love me some Horse

This book was an unexpected pleasure. I enjoyed every part of it and felt it was very realistic and down to earth.. Has off to the author and narrator.

Puh-retty Steamy!

As with many romance novels, there isn’t much conflict in the plot. But! It is very steamy and the characters have amazing chemistry so I would read it again. Stella Bloom does a great job with the low male voices. Her range is just perfect.

I was addicted to this story

Not only was this filled with plenty of steamy scenes, the story was really good! The plot had several nice twists and it was super entertaining. I loved all of the characters. Highly recommend it

I'd love to be apart of the Reapers too

Great story. Loved how the relationship between Horse and Marie grew as the story progressed. Great story + hot sex = 5 stars. Makes you want to be apart of an MC and have your own Horse (lol)

Marie is living with her brother after fleeing an abusive ex. When Reaper and his group pay a call on her brother she intrigued by the hot muscles and swagger of the men, Reaper in particular. When her brother screws up, Marie finds herself living with Reaper and having to learn the rules of the MC.

Drenching hot and steamy. I didn’t really care for Reaper until the two chapters that were from his perspective. Those turned everything around for me. I’m still not a fan of ….well, I’ll just say “to each his own”.

🎧 I listened to the audio version narrated by Stella Bloom. I really enjoyed her performance and have listened to her from different authors. Stella does emotions and steam very well and while there were distinct voices for the couple, I kept thinking that Reaper sounded more like a woman that Marie did. I listened at my regular preferred speed of 1.2 which was approximately conversational speed.

So so good

This audio copy gives you the story without being over the top. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone

I enjoyed this book. The whole biker gang thing is new to me so I was not loving the terminologies being used. I have learned to understand them as terms of endearment. But it still is taking a while to get used to.

I liked the love story but I found myself thinking some of it was cheesy causing me to roll my eyes. I do think that a part of it was the voicer. I found her to be a bit cheesy especially since she did all the voices. The next book has m/f voicers so it will be interesting.

Loved the dominance of Horse and the loving soft side of him. He was enjoyable to read about but I struggled with a visual of him that I could use throughout which is weird for me. So I can't pin point why that was.

Anyways I enjoyed it and will try the next one
