This purchase was a first-taste gamble.. and boy did it ever pay off!! Because this supremely talented new-to-me author drew me in and kept me utterly riveted as explosive chemistry warred against damaged histories. And the deadly threats that are very much in the present nearly stole both their futures. Great characters, exciting new Demented Sons MC storyline, non-stop suspenseful action, a sexy long-haul romance, a sweet little two yr old, a damaged hot af tattooed alpha bad-boy biker and a sassy tattoo artist heroine. Unfortunately Raiven’s violent ex causes a lot of physical pain and emotional heartache before we can rejoice in his demise.. but Lock has a snake of an enemy too and he might just ruin everything. Their rollercoaster road has hope and heartbreak, thrills and chills, highs and lows and tense riveting hold-your-breath scenes. There’s also a brutal kidnapping.. or was it two, torture, a bloody murder and a climactic rescue which all had to be triumphed over before the sweet HEA ending. A great introduction to the MC biker secondary characters too. Awesome dual POV narration made the sizzles and suspense.. the swoons and the scary parts,.. the sweet and the savory.. and the mean and the mild come to life in an awesome way which made it a delicious 5 star listen.

WORTH A CREDIT? Oh boy yes indeed.. so very much more than I was ever expecting and I’m eagerly watching out for the next book in the series.

I definitely love this book but to put voices to it is even better. Really enjoyed it.

Loved Lock!

I just started listening to audio books and this was my third one. First time having dual narrations and I really enjoyed that! Way better than just one person. I loved Lock and Raven's story. I was entertained through the whole book. I loved the chemistry between Lock and Raven and the secondary characters were also very good. I was invested in the story and needed to know how everything turned out. The writing was well executed and the plot was very intriguing. Highly recommend!

Excellent story, well-written with plenty of twists, but nothing over the top. The female narrator could use some work on when to amp up the drama.

Finished in two days. Loved that I could do things while I listened. Would recommend!

Awesome start to a new series for me!! Loved the characters and twist and turn throughout the whole story. I can’t wait to read more of this series.

Such a Fantastic Book!

I know Kristine Allen is new to audible but I have been reading her books for some time now. This book was fantastic as a read but amazing as an audible! The narrators had me tearing up in the prolong. I was caught up in the story from chapter one. This story never gets boring and never losses my attention. I absolutely love Lock and Raven. Kristine knows just how to make the characters in her books seem like real people. This is a must listen to. The narrators were a perfect fit. I cant wait for the next book in this series to come to Audible!
