Great to listen to over and over

The book itself is fantastic but the narration added to the personalities and characters in the book. Uncle Morgan chapter is hysterical and I think of it as the Judy Dench performance in Shakespeare in Love.

Gillian is a likable and realistic heroine. She’s isn’t a complete idiot and quite clever and smart. In a lot of the Garwood books, the heroine is fierce but also completely ignorant in common sense areas. Gillian is well rounded.

Brodick is strong and someone I want to be best friends with. His personal guards are likable too.

The friendship and loyalty theme between the main and supporting characters are endearing and well written.

Better narration than the last story

The narrator was much better on this story than the last story I listened to .

It's the second in the trilogy. Great story. Follows a character that we meet in the first book. Some familiar characters are back and new ones introduced. Great narration. Recommend.

This book was one my favorites by This other. ❤️ I laughed, I cried. I loved all the characters and I absolutely love this narrator she took some getting used to but now I adore her as much as Roslyn Landor. 💕💕💕

Excellent story with intriguing twists and turns. I loved the secret and I believe his book is a perfect follow up to that story.

Wonderful story. Love all the characters. The romance was sweet and powerful. The friendships. The loyal relationship between men and women.

Found it to be true to the book which made it very enjoyable . I found that her voicing of the characters were pretty close to what I envisioned while reading the book.
