Holden Scott is the prince of professional football. At least he was before he lost it all...or, more to the point, before he threw it all away. Now he's out of a job, out of the public's good graces, and perhaps just a little out of his mind. So when a friend offers up his remote lodge in the wilds of Colorado, giving Holden some time away to get his life back on track, he can hardly say no. The last thing he expects is to see a beautiful girl in the woods - one wearing a white lace dress who appears in the moonlight and leaves no footprints behind. Is she a dream? A ghost? A product of his muddled imagination? Or something entirely different?
Midnight Lily is the haunting love story of two lost souls reaching for each other in the dark - a tale of healing, acceptance, and the worlds we create to protect our own hearts. It is a story of being lost, of being found, and of being in the place in between.
Contains mature themes.

The narrators were ok. I really had mixed feelings about the book after learning that both main characters were mentally ill. After stories like Leo, Stinger, Archer's Voice and Kyland I had high hopes for this one but I was disappointed.
I just finished this audio book and I can't even find the words to describe it. An absolute mind blowing story of two people's love so deep for each other.....After listening to this story you will believe in fate more than you ever had. You will believe in love more than you ever had. This story will have you captivated from the beginning to the end. Brilliant. Mia has once again managed to leave me with a huge book hangover. Where to go from here...........thank you Mia❤️

Wow, Midnight Lily is like nothing I've ever read before. I live Mia Sheridan and all her books. I can't say much about this book without revealing what it's about. All I can say is that it's a different kind of love story.
Although I usually love Mia Sheridan's stories, I have to say that this one confused me, smacked me upside the head and then turned everything upside down. When I can't figure out a story without going to a website for an explanation, it's pretty bad. However, I have not fight with the narration, it was great. Once I went to the explanation site on facebook and had the chronology and story explained, I liked it better, but I prefer not to have to go to such extremes for a book I read for entertainment.
I was utterly mesmerized throughout this story. Wonderful journey with one of the most shocking plot twists I've ever encountered.
...I would put this on your read list. Great story. Narrators detracted a bit. Didn't ruin it...still got the warm fuzzies... but I can tell I would have loved it even more if I had read it. Mia Sheridan writes wonderful books! I think I have read them all.
