In this heart-warming romance from New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts, can frontiersman Jake Redman capture the heart of a woman unaccustomed to the wild landscape he loves?
Half Apache and all man, Jake Redman was more than a match for the wild Arizona Territory. Sarah Conway, on the other hand, was an Eastern lady who belonged anywhere else but on the rugged land Jake loved. But beneath Sarah's ladylike demeanor beat the heart of a true pioneer, a woman he yearned to make his own.

This novel by Nora Roberts is the best one I have read so far. One is so wanting to know what happens next, that it is hard to put the book down. A must read for everyone!
Self Proclaimed Audiobook Expert...lol.
Yes I enjoyed this story. THis was my second Nora book. It had everything I wanted. It had that old west historical romance thing i wanted. I wish these books were easier to find in audio. The heroine was naive but not stupid. The narrator Todd Haberkorn had Jack sounding like CLint Eastwood. It was kinda humerous.
I really enjoyed the story in itself but the performance was truly amazing, by the reader Todd Habercorn. Todd Hanercorn really was able to bring each character to life which made the story so much better (even a giggle or the cluck of the tongue was expressed, weeping..and other emotions as well). I would recommend this book to anyone who asks - age appropriate in mind of course.
Nora Roberts is a hit and miss for me. Most of her books are on the light side for my taste. This one kept my attention, and I give the credit to Mr. Todd Haberkorn, this is my first time listening to him and I will be looking for more books narrated by this man. The story was your regular western type romance.
I couldn't get enough fast enough. I have loved western since I was a child. love every character, the setting, the struggle, the imagery, everything.

A different story and a different narrator
Terrible narrator. Story line lame.
Can't believe the positive reviews, not sure what they are listening to.
Can't finish. Any woman voice was SO terrible I quite listening.
This is a beautifully written love story by Nora Roberts ( not a surprise there as she writes them so well) and narrated brilliantly by Todd Haberkorn.
I was enthralled from start to finish, so much so I listened to the entire book in one sitting. Highly recommended. Thank you x
A really good story and beautifully read. This added to the enjoyment of the story. A good reader is so important. I have rejected some books because of the poor or irritating performance of the reader.
Yes, but happy to read it in instalments.
Some readers have no emotion in their voice and some read as if they are in a sprint race and a few have a tone of voice which unfortunately is really irritating to the ear. The reader of this book was excellent: it was beautifully read. I can see this story made into a film.
