The Malory Price Life Plan does not include a quixotic quest - but the strangers on Warrior's Peak claim that she must find a key that will release three souls held captive by an evil god.
Little does she know that the quest will bring her two new friends: the love of her life - and danger beyond anyone's imagination.

This was yet another wonderful Nora Roberts story that I'd read previously, I'd yet to experience in the world of Audible. I loved being able to lose myself in the characters with the narrator's voices and intonations. I can't wait to listen to the next!
A very lonely 90 year old woman
Any good book to cleanse my pallet
This book is bad on so many levels. First, a ridiculous story involving Irish gods and a search for keys. If this was a fantasy type novel, perhaps it would work, but this plot is such a minor part of the book it seems silly. This book is all about sex and male/female interaction. The plot is just an excuse for making this book. Second, it is written really bad. The sex scenes are laughable with lines like "he pilfered her lips". Wow. Then there is the banter between the supposed males in this book. It was obviously written by a woman because no men that I know talk like this.
Do yourself a favor-- pass on this book and the whole series.
I have always liked the romance novels by Nora Roberts but this weird gods and goddess junk is ridiculous. I will be very careful when making any further purchases by this author since I could barely get through this one, I have no intention of getting book 2.
