Publisher's summary

When they were only teenagers, Axel and Caxton were caught making out in the woods at church camp. And afterward, Cax had disappeared from all the youth group activities.

Six years later Axel is astonished to spot his first love's face in the crowd of a college basketball game he's watching on television - at a school that has just offered him a job. It's a thousand miles away, in a tiny rural town. But suddenly he can't wait to get there.

Cax can't believe his eyes when Axel appears in the same Massachusetts town where he now lives. And he's still just as drawn to him as ever. But he can't let himself go there again, because loving Axel will mean giving up everything else he holds dear.

Both men have so much to lose. But as far as their love is concerned, it's Hello Forever.

5 Hello Forever Stars

When I first started this book I thought… OH No not another one where the man can’t accept who he is.

But I kept on reading because it is Sarina Bowen and she hasn’t steered me wrong yet.

And I found that I really enjoyed Axel and Caxton’s story because one accepts who he is and the other learns to accept himself because of the other one.

It really is a great story of finding yourself even when the odds feel like they are against you.

I hope Sarina writes more MM because she just makes you feel so many things for these strong men who want and need love too.

The narration was fanfreakingtastic as always when these two preform together.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Enjoyable story; mediocre narration

I enjoyed the first book in this series much more than this, but it was still very good. Much like the last book, Teddy Hamilton did a great job, but Dake Bliss just did not fit and kind of ruined the flow of the story.

There were a couple of editing errors too that were so egregious they should be mentioned: At one point Josh (or Caleb?) said they’re going to “Maggie & Dylan’s.” Did Maggie divorce Daniel and marry someone named Dylan? Did the narrator read it wrong? Or did the author forget her character’s name? Also, during one of the sexy times, the narrator said, “he groined.” I’m assuming he meant “groaned,” so, again, either the narrator misread it or it was a typo and the narrator was being a pro and read it verbatim. Either way, it made me laugh out loud. :)

I want.more, please

I am so bummed this duet is over. In HELLO FOREVER: HELLO, GOODBYE we meet Axle and Cax who have an interesting dynamic. Their relationship is HOT and filled with compassion and understanding.

We also briefly see what Josh and Caleb are up to now (yay), and now I want to know Jason's story.

Absolutely recommend this Audio version, the written version, the series and author.

Absolutely loved it!!!

Amazing read and wonderful, heartfelt narration.
Sarina Bowen has once again brought me to tears as I attempt to compose a review worthy of her beautiful words put into a story that captures the true spirit of what love truly is meant to be like. This story was emotionally charged and beautifully scripted. I was transported to New England once again and I was left with a full heart and many many tears. It's a wonderful journey of firsts and lasts experienced by true soul mates destined to become one.

Teddy Hamilton - you continue to astound me with your ability to have me giggling and then sobbing almost at the same time. You truly are a treasure and your emotions, smiles and heartfelt words jump from my ear buds into my heart and soul. Dake Bliss - wow, please, please do more narration. You are a gift to the audio world!

Great Story BUT Dake Bliss...WTH?!!!

Both books in this series get 5 wonderful stars for the story lines, romance and steam! I never met a Sarina Bowen story that I did not absolutely ❤️❤️❤️. I loved both of these stories. Hello Forever was my favorite of the two.
And, Teddy Hamilton...Oh Teddy! How I love thee!
As I said in my review of book 1, he should have narrated this book solo.
Having said that, who is this Dake Bliss guy?? He is the opposite of blissful. These are the first and last books Of his that I will listen to. Painful and cringe-worthy are two descriptions that come to mind. Aren’t these narrators supposed to be trained actors or at least trained readers? Just because he knows the words, doesn’t make him qualified. He may as well have been reading a phone book.
Think, Teddy Hamilton’s absolute polar opposite.
Ironically, he read most of the sexy times. It was awkward and icky. He’s got a beautiful voice but really needs acting lessons or more experience or coaching in the Romance genre.
Super disappointing because this is truly a wonderful, super steamy love story. I wish it were re-recorded with another actor or with just Teddy playing all characters.
Oh, Teddy...(Sigh) 😊❤️

*Hearts*

I love that Caleb and Josh were also in the story. I adored Axel but Scotty was fabulous.

Engrossing

I’m a hetero female and new to this genre of romance writing. Never could wrap my head around a mano y mano relationship, but with the care, emotion and long time connection of these two guys, it’s becoming quite obvious. Let’s hope the marginalization of being gay continues to recede and if someone shows respect and interest in you, it’s taken as a compliment, not as an offense if you’re not of the same persuasion. Fear of ‘being found out’ shouldn’t be a thing and leads to loneliness and unfulfilled lives, I’m sure.
So many hate and fear what they don’t understand and that was well illustrated by Cax’s father.
I couldn’t fathom the physical mechanics of a homosexual male sexual interaction, but the author describes their lovemaking in such a sensual way that now I get it.
My one question would be, isn’t more training needed to relax the muscles enough for full penetration to be pleasurable? Cax took on Axel more quickly than I would expect could be possible given his inexperience.
Narration was great, but had to listen carefully to who’s who, since both main characters are male.

A Powerful Second Chance Love Story

This second chance romance grabbed my heart and tore it up before piecing it together. There was angst, tenderness, love, drama, and romance as well as an action-filled plot. Sarina Bowen’s prose was gorgeous, and she penned an exciting and wonderful love story.

The narration of the book was fantastic and a true performance. Dake Bliss and Teddy Hamilton did a wonderful job and invoked so many emotions and feelings into all the characters they voiced.
