Publisher's summary

Ever,

These letters are often all that get me through week to week. Even if it’s just random stuff, nothing important, they’re important to me. Gramps is great, and I love working on the ranch. But…I’m lonely. I feel disconnected, like I’m no one, like I don’t belong anywhere. Like I’m just here until something else happens. I don’t even know what I want with my future. But your letters, they make me feel connected to something, to someone. I had a crush on you, when we first met. I thought you were beautiful. So beautiful. It was hard to think of anything else. Then camp ended and we never got together, and now all I have of you is these letters. S**t. I just told you I have a crush on you. HAD. Had a crush. Not sure what is anymore. A letter-crush? A literary love? That’s stupid. Sorry. I just have this rule with myself that I never throw away what I write and I always send it, so hopefully this doesn’t weird you out too much. I had a dream about you, too. Same kind of thing. Us, in the darkness, together. Just us. And it was like you said, a memory turned into a dream, but a memory of something that’s never happened, but in the dream it felt so real, and it was more, I don’t even know, more RIGHT than anything I’ve ever felt, in life or in dreams. I wonder what it means that we both had the same dream about each other. Maybe nothing, maybe everything. You tell me.

Loved the story but....Please get a new editor....

What did you like best about Forever & Always? What did you like least?

I loved the story. But the details were all over the place. Were they apart 4 years or 5 years. And on and on. It became too distracting and took away from the flow of the story...
Not sure if I can listen to the next one even thou I want to know want happens...

Would you ever listen to anything by Jasinda Wilder again?

I have not notice this editing problem before so maybe...

Never a disappointment

For some reason I have listened to all Jasinda Wilders books before committing to this series, not sure why. I shouldn't have waited. I loved this book and almost everything she does!

Slow

The narrators were so slow and the mics were so bad that I sped them up to just get through it. The story has a great premise but fell flat when *spoiler* the two see each other after years of meeting ONCE and instantly get married and have so much sex (that was narrated by what sounded like a robot) to the point I ended the book in the final stretch. No chemistry and not real conflict.

Reads like a YA with explicit sex.

Any additional comments?

Story: 2 stars, Confused story. read like YA in the first part, then goes into very detailed long and explicit sex scenes.

Relationship/sex: not believable- deep emotional relationship between teens, that turns into a sexual marathon lacking much depth as adults. With poor and shallow dialogue.

Narration: Good, nice to have two narrators. Both good.

Overall: 2.5 stars

Not worth the time, definitely not worth a credit. Will not follow the series.

Overly dramatic and unoriginal

Spoiler alert: Don't continue reading if you do not want spoilers. This author already wrote a similar series (Falling into Us). I found that this book was too similar with the other series so that was disappointing. Also, the recurring loss, death, teen sex and sleeping with the sibling of your significant other was uncomfortable in Falling into Us and now it's disturbing because it's the same thing all over again. The first 75% of the story is Caden and Ever growing up and writing letters to each other. Then one day they finally meet and the last 25% of the story is sex, more sex, even more sex and yeah let's get married and buy a home within 2 weeks of meeting each other in real life. It was overly dramatic and unbelievable. Not worth a credit in my opinion.

Disappointing

Slow and dragging in places and then too detailed and graphic love scenes. I have read her books before but this one did not do it for me. No room for imagination- not worth my credit.
