Publisher's summary

Jace Crestwell, Ash McIntyre, and Gabe Hamilton have been best friends and successful business partners for years. They’re powerful, they’re imposing, they’re irresistibly sexy, and Jace and Ash share everything - including their women. When they meet Bethany, Jace begins to feel things he’s never experienced before: jealousy and a powerful obsession that threatens him, overwhelms him - and excites him beyond control. Jace isn’t sharing Bethany - with anyone. He’s determined to be the only man in her life, and it’s jeopardizing a lifelong friendship with Ash. Bethany will be his and his alone. Even if it means turning his back on his best friend.

Whew...HOT!

Any additional comments?

This was a steamy book! Be warned, but if that's your thing then you will love it. The story behind all the smoking hot love scenes is good also. I am now invested in these characters and want yo see where each story goes. The next book will be about Ash and I will be getting the third book in the series.

I really hoped for better!

I liked book 1 but book 2 not so much. It was predictable and very repetitive at times. (just say it a different way) This book could have been a lot shorter. I truly hope book 3 (we learn more about Ash my favorite)

Steamy for sure!

If you can get past the domination stuff that is prevelant in Mrs. Banks work, there is a decent story. But, weak women and domineering are staples in this series.

Maya is always a hit!

What did you love best about Fever?

Even though all the men in this series of books are very demanding they are all so different. Jace is very much his own person and nothing like Gabe is.

What did you like best about this story?

Jace and Bethany have to go through so much personal growth to be together.

Finally! Maya is back on track here!

This was soooo much better than book 1. This is more of a Maya Banks book I am use too...

Jace, Mia brother from book 1, and his friend Ash usually have 3some... but this time...they have one with a homeless Bethany and Jace falls in love. The raw emotion of this book was so great. Jace and Bethany relationship seem so real... like if a billionaire was to fall in love with a homeless girl...what would they do. Well this book is it. I simply loved it.

Bethany was a very strong character surprisingly... even though she was homeless, she didn't want charity, she had major trust issues and she had someone on the streets she cared about... So good right? Jace's overbearing and controlling ways seem to work out for the couple, but I love how it wasn't a "Pretty Woman' flawless love affair. Like I said... Maya Banks got back on track with this book... b/c book 1 was soooo not Maya Banks style...

I must say... the end got a little sappy with all the I love you so much... when Bethy is.... well when Bethy is not feeling well... I will just say that... I was like really, Ok... we get it... You love each other forever!!! But other than that... Nice re-tracking for the series!

Narration was great. Paul did a great job...even better than book 1!!!! This whole book was better than book 1 in the series by leaps and bounds. And the smexin in this book was just... 'Fan yourself'!

Great story

Steam in a story makes the story really good and this one lacked no steam

Not okay for this kinky story!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

NO, I would not recommend this. There's a limit to being kinky, but sharing your "loved one" with your friend is not okay.

What was most disappointing about Maya Banks’s story?

Sex and women as a commodity, although there seems to be some life epiphany in the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

Can't think of any, except perhaps the smattering of kindness throughout the story.

Could you see Fever: The Breathless Trilogy, Book 2 being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Are you kidding me?

Loved This Book

I absolutely adore Maya Banks and she didn't disappoint with this book. It grabbed me from page one and was hard to put down. Jace and Bethany are character you will love and this story will be one you will not forget. Can't wait to start on the next one. I would definitely recommend you add this to your library if you love steamy romance with a take charge alpha male.

Rags to Riches, Again!

There is nothing new or spectacular about this story line, the characters, their situations and relationships. It is a solid effort by Maya Banks and what you would expect from this author in writing style, plot line and conclusion. If you like Banks, you'll like the book.
