Publisher's summary

When female wolf shifter Taryn Warner first encounters Trey Coleman, an alpha male wolf shifter with a dangerous reputation, she’s determined to resist his charms. After all, Trey - who was only fourteen when he defeated his own father in a duel, winning the right to be alpha of his pack - can’t have anything to offer the talented healer besides trouble, or so she thinks. Taryn finds herself drawn in by Trey’s forceful demeanor and arctic-blue eyes, and she eventually agrees to enter an uneasy alliance with him. If the two succeed in convincing their respective packs that they’ve chosen each other as mates, Trey will win valuable political allies, while Taryn will escape an odious arranged mating.

But there are a lot of potential pitfalls to this plan - including the very real possibility that the wolf shifters, overwhelmed by their growing attraction to each other, will be unable to maintain the clear heads needed to pull off the deception.

Addicting., Steamy.. HOTT and Sensational

Feral Sins is by far one of the if not the best books I’ve had the pleasure to read. I love the heroine and hero’s fight for dominance in and out of the bedroom. I adored the alphas grandma who spoke her mind and the Bets who always had a corny joke. This book was full of character and action. Also the erotic scenes would have you laughing and once the alpha gained dominance, it was the best sex scenes I’ve read in any book this far. And I’ve read a lot. Especially in this genre. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Don’t miss out on this amazing story. You won’t regret it!

Great Read

What did you love best about Feral Sins?

I loved the dialogue between characters. I downloaded this book because I saw its rating on the listener's scroll bar and thought why not try a new author. I was not disappointed. I will download the second book for sure. I did think that there could have been more action or deception to the story plot but overall I enjoyed the book.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked all the different character personalities and the fact that the main charater was a strong female role. I love lots of dialogue and banter back and forth.

Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to Sylia Day Bared to You servies by Jill Redfield and love how she acts out the role rather than just reading words on a page. She makes you forget that she is playing all the parts.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The sarcasm was hillarious to listen to. You know it is good when you are smiling and laughing out loud while on the treadmill:)

Ready for book 2!!!!

I really enjoyed this book and am anxiously awaiting the 2nd book in the series. I liked the main characters; they were both strong and had distinct personalities. The book grabs your attention from the start and keeps the momentum going for the majority of the book. There are lots of antagonists that keep the drama high, but not at the price of a good story line and plenty of character development.

My only criticism is the number of detailed intimate encounters. That seemed to be the primary vehicle of interaction between the two characters and it honestly gets a little old after a while. However, it is still a great book!

I have been EDUCATED!!!!!

What made the experience of listening to Feral Sins the most enjoyable?

I have been reading romance novels for years, since I was sixteen and I'm in my 30s now. Thus, I am used to the sex, sensuality and intensity of great intimacy between characters. This book however, took it to an entirely different level. My husband has provided me with the best sex on the planet but this book still made me say "DAMN!!!" True, Taryn's filthy mouth during sex made little sense to me but apparently the author has her own idea of sexy dirty talk and she stays true to that. What's amazing is how good the actually story is. Many books either have great intimacy scenes where the story falters or a great story that doesn't lend itself to producing a great story. This is usually because romance novels have to walk a fine line so they aren't classified as slutty, too over the top, or inappropriately hypersexual. Ms. Wright found the right balance. I WILL say that the dirty talk, especially all the names Taryn called Trey during sex, WAS a little over the top but it fit the story so it wasn't distracting. I absolutely LOVED Trey, though his mouth got a little outta control too. He was so sexy. When he finally reconciled his feelings for Taryn, it made me like him all the more. It didn't diminish his strength and made him even more wonderful. I loved Taryn's strength, humor and her vulnerability. Her sarcastic wit was hilarious and endearing. She was a great character and I hope that both she and Trey are a part if the following novels.

What other book might you compare Feral Sins to and why?

None. I've read Sherrilyn Kenyon, Laurel K. Hamilton, Shannon Drake and others who write romance/fantasy novels. Ms. Wright stands on her own.

What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?

This narrator is phenomenal. He characters have distinct voices and personalities created by slight inflections as she reads the dialog. This is the first book that I have listened to where I have no complaints. She was phenomenal.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nooooo. I purposefully dragged it out because I didn't want it to end. It truly was a great story. However, when not listening to it, I couldn't wait to get back to it. It really was a great story.

Any additional comments?

I'm glad that I didn't read the first release of this book that had the orgy scene in it. I know that it would gave ruined how much I loved the relationship b/w Trey and Taryn. I know that sex can be great and I'm not a prude but I wouldn't have read and/or thought it cool that Trey would have watched or joined Taryn while she had sex with others. I cannot wait for Dante's story.

GREAT LISTEN !!!

What made the experience of listening to Feral Sins the most enjoyable?

The introduction to the individual characters. The author describes the prominent pack members' personalities very well without detracting from the main characters, Tray & Taryn. I loved that the author reminded us throughout the story that both Tray & Taryn were dominant in their own rite; that Tray was very much a dominant canine with Taryn and his pack but that Taryn did not loose her dominance except with Tray.

What did you like best about this story?

I am looking forward to more from this author - hope the next in the series is not too long in coming.

Which character – as performed by Jill Redfield – was your favorite?

Yes.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Nothing. I thought the narrator was great.

Would like more.

vulgar, dirty, and hilarious

This book snagged me from the start and it was difficult to put down. I loved the witty and sarcastic alpha female; the major alpha male with the dirtiest bed-talk I've ever heard; and the supporting cast members with a knack for bad one-liners, pathetic grudges, and horrible parenting.

I think what made this book even more wonderful is that I had no expectations. I randomly picked it while audiobook shopping on my tiny little phone. What a treat. I love it when things like that work out so well. I can't wait to read more about the other pack members.

Narrator: Jill Redfield
Performance:5/5
Redfield did an excellent job with the narration. There was a lot of dialogue in this book that needed just the right inflection and animation to deliver the lines and she was perfect.

Pottymouth Pervy Wolves. I love it.

Where does Feral Sins rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

For Paranormal Romance with some seriously hot bedroom scenes this is the way to go. As long as you don't mind some foul language - the main character drops it like it's hot with 4-letter words but it was all good with me. Super promising start to a series.

What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?

It always tricky with romances not to sound too hard or too soft. Total Goldilocks, just right moment.

Any additional comments?

I'm not a huge fan of the Scarlett O'Hara kinds of characters, so while this main character is strong-willed, it wasn't to a level of stupidity or un-believability that kept me from enjoying the story. And seriously, them is some steamy ace sex scenes. I had to listen with my earbuds on even at home when I was all alone. It was like that.
