Taryn Warner is a wolf shifter with extraordinary healing skills - and serious problems. First, her father is determined that she mate for life with a wolf shifter named Roscoe Weston, whom the feisty Taryn can’t stand. To make matters worse, she’s also been kidnapped by Trey Coleman, a dangerous alpha male from another pack. And as much as she wants to resist Trey, Taryn is incredibly, maddeningly attracted to him. When he makes her a tempting proposal that will benefit both of them, the strong-willed healer has to decide whether escaping an unwelcomed bond with Roscoe is worth the risks of mating with Trey, no matter how temporary their allegiance is intended to be.

Titles my fault but i was really looking forward to a shifter story, soooo many vampire books about but the graphic and totally cringey sex got me fast forwarding part to get to the storyline.
I love reading but don't have time. The audiobooks allow me to hear the books I want to read. I love audible!
The characters made you laugh the storyline was interesting. I even loved the grandmother. It's a must read for those who believe in true mates. :)
I love Suzanne Wright and like to listen to the Phenix Series very often. I love her sense of humor, great plot, interesting and strong characters and above that all - hot scenes. She is at the top of my list and the Feral Sins is just the begining of the great series.
The best narration of a romance. I am usually amused at the poor narrator when it comes to sex scenes, but was pleasantly surprised to not have someone suffering through.
Audible addict... need i say more
If you are into a contemporary romance fantasy science fiction love story that has u howeling at the moon. then this is your book. must read!
I like gratuitous sex and a sass mouthed female as much as the next depraved reader... And so I quite enjoyed the first third of this book. However I also consider myself somewhat intelligent, and as the sex and sass mouth rinsed and repeated throughout I found myself getting more and more irritated and bored and even found myself wanting to get more involved in the story (go figure)... Unfortunately that didn't happen either... I mean the story didn't make sense, I kept thinking 'that wouldn't happen' or 'the Alpha wouldn't do that' and I really don't like that!
Not only that, some of the characters (the nan and the friend with the pick up lines) were so over done and contrived that I found myself thinking 'yeah yeah we know that's their character you don't have to keep telling us'.
Ok, so if you want hot sex, action and sass... Spend your credit.
But if you want a clever story, a well written world and characters with more heat but less sex there are other, better reads out there. Kim Harrison, Stacia Kane and Keri Arthur just to name a few of my faves! (Not sure if they are on audible either sorry) some on audible that I did stick with longer than this one are Larissa Ione and Tina Folsom
P.S. The narration was very good.
Excellent books my only issue is everyone in the book had the same voice. I believe the author should consider have alt least 2 people so you can tell how is talking and who is not. The only one you knew for sure was trey.
Love sci-fi books, romace books. I love to get lost into a good book.
I loved this book. The story line was hot romantic and exciting. Can't wait to listen to the next book!
I loved the Shifter world as the author developed them to be like real wolf packs . Funny and sexy. The narrator was great. Could listen to her read the phone book
Good story . Creative and interesting but the sexual descriptions were a little to graphic for me. I personally think the story would have been 10 times better without them. I even fast forwarded through many of them. Others may be OK with it but I would have preferred more story less porn like descriptions.
I will listen to this book again - good mixture of strong story, humour and a hot scenes.
Taryan - strong lady - can kick butt, quick witted with a heart and a strong scene of right and wrong
Loved it - good character voices which don't change making it easy to tell who is speaking.
Loved the interactions between Taryn and Greta. Taryn's come-backs are wonderful - made me laugh out loud which really made my husband turn and look at me.
"Okay, but a bit predictable"
Strong characters and plausible banter.
Dropped right into an undeveloped fictional world where there are an awful lot of weres living openly alongside humans, in their own society. Would their females (presumably educated in the modern USA) really allow themselves to be passed around as if they were chattels? The female lead certainly doesn't seem like someone to tolerate it, so why should the other women?
I thought too much of the plot was given away early and, for me anyway, it dragged. And it was a disappointingly predictable plot.
Warm, emotive, lively
Disappointed, sounded far more promising than it turned out to be.
"Twilight and fifty Shades mix and blown out of the"
a very good listen although extremely graphic language, I have enjoyed the quirkiness of that author
the main characters Tray & Terin, are very sexually graphic so if that offends you this is not the set of books for you other wise a very good listen a definite hint of Twilight and Fifty Shades of Gray with a lot of fun in between
"woo hot and enjoyable"
I am half way through and thoroughly enjoying. Its on a par with the Riley Jensen series
I have listened to this book more than once. I love the story and the narrator is one of the best I have ever heard she brings joy to the humour and is equally good at any emotion the narrative requires.
The author's writing style is fresh and just appealed to me on every level. I laughed and still do laugh at the humour but the humour does not detract from the main storyline. I highly recommend any of this author's books.
"50 Shades with Wolves!!"
This is my first book that i have listened to from Susan Wright and will not be the last. i love the main female character Taryn Warner. she has some great lines. and the banter between her and Greta fantastic. the main male character Trey Coleman can be seen as very protective of Taryn, which she finds hard as she is a very strong willed person. there are some very steamy between the two of them. i enjoyed the narrator i found it easy to tell who was talking. i am just going to buy the next book as soon as i finish this review can't wait!!
I was abit reluctant to buy this book with it having a mix of reviews but I'm glad that I did the humour in this book had me laughing most the way through...there are alot of sex scene's in this book but it's a shifter book so I wouldn't expect anything less so if that's not ur thing this isn't the book for you ..... I enjoyed the book all the way through some books I find start ok but half way through take's a nose dive so I would definitely recommend for anyone after a fully rounded shifter book
"Too much sleazy porn, not enough story."
To be honest, I didn't get that far in, but when one character told another he was going to fill her with cum, I was too grossed out to listen any further. Shame - I quite liked the premise, and erotica, written well, can be fun, but this was just nasty.
"I really shouldnt have enjoyed this book but I did"
This book has a very shallow and predictable story line - easy to know exactly how it will all pan out. The Characters seem to be either evil baddies or wonderful good guys - its the sort of book I would normally not listen to at all. But the lead character Taryn is just great - a feisty lass with a wicked tongue and a lot of bottle - I stuck with the book because of her and I found myself caring about what happened. I just loved her sarcastic one liners.
Developed the lesser characters a bit more and given a bit more substance to the plot. A bit of suspense would have been nice - you really did know exactly how the book was going to pan out
No not yet but I thought she was perfect for this book. a rare case where I think having it narrated was actually better than reading a print copy she handled the timing of Taryns quips perfectly and even made the racy bedroom scenes entertaining with the way she acted out the voices.
It definitely made me laugh out loud in places and I really felt attached to Taryn - but cry - no the story was just too predictable
I found this book by accident as it was in the recommended section - Its not really my type and I since noticed its in the chick -lit and romance category - not really my thing normally. but I guess if you like a shallow story with a fair deal of bedroom action you will like it. I will probably try the next in the series but as I know it focuses on other characters I am not sure I will be hooked on the series - it was the lead character that kept me interested
loved it great story looking forward to the next book and what happens to the Pack
