AMAZING

Would you consider the audio edition of Demon from the Dark: Immortals After Dark, Book 10 to be better than the print version?

Yes. Robert Petkoff's narration is AMAZING.

Who was your favorite character and why?

One of my favorite novels in the Immortals After Dark series. Malkom, the Vemon (Demon and Vampire mix) love interest, is so far from having that perfect life prior to meeting Carrow. He's not a prince to any dark realm, he's doesn't come from a family with multiple sisters and brothers... In fact, when he meets Carrow, he doesn't even have any friends. There's no luxury in his life at all. He mother sold him into slavery when he was a boy, and later in life, he was forced to kill the only friend he ever had. He's suffered years of mental and physical abuse and still was able to rise above it. Yeah, sure, when later in the book something happens that makes him snap for a short duration, his sanity might be momentarily debatable... But under those particular circumstances, who's wouldn't be? I love Malkom. He's a wonderful blend of tortured soul and innocence.

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

Seriously, Robert Petkoff needs to win some kind of narrating award. He is freakishly talented. The longer I listen to these audiobooks, the more I come to terms with how I've undergone the Pavlov effect. When the book begins and I first hear his voice, I shiver with anticipation for all the naughty scenes to come. But it's not even just those scenes. His range of accents and multiple voices is impressive. Which really works out considering the vast characters that keep being added to this series.

loved this addition to the IAD series and the narrator was perfect! One of the things I like is when a book makes me laugh out loud and this book did a couple times.

Fabulous Series

First of all - Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series is one of the best out there, for those who like their heroes powerful and oh so sexy, and their heroines hot, sexy and bad ass! Gotta love the women of the Lore.

Carrow Graie is a witch, who feeds off of happiness - so living in New Orleans she is quite powerful and carefree. That is she was powerful until she was captured along with others of the Lore by some scientific fanatical and brutal humans who were attempting to discover their secrets and divest them all of their powers. However they were missing one rumored very powerful demon and if Carrow wants to be freed along with an orphaned 8 year old witchling, she must enter another realm and bring this dangerous demon back to the humans.

Malkom Slaine has led a brutal and pain filled life. Poisoned with vampire blood and enslaved he spent years of degradation with the biggest crime of all being forced to murder the only friend he’d ever known. Tormented by his past and his desire for the green eyed witch he aches to claim he gives his heart which she had caused to beat again, only to discover the biggest betrayal of all – hers!

Once again, Robert Petkoff performed another of the Immortals After Dark books to perfection. His voiceovers are just fabulous and listening to his performance gives you the feeling of sitting in a theatre and watching the action take place. Absolutely a wonderful story by Ms. Kresley Cole that entertains beyond expected every time!! Love this series and every tome so far!

My Favorite IAD Book, Hands Down!

I loved this book! I bought it as a Kindle edition first, and then I counted the days until it was released as an audio book.
This book has every thing that fans of PNR love. Great characters with good chemistry, an engaging story and a lot of good old fashioned humor.
LOVED IT!
BTW Robert Petkoff is the perfect narrator for this series. He does a great job with all the many, many different accents.

love the series and I think this book the most. However I have not finished the series yet but I fully intend to.

This is the best one in the series for me, and that's a tough call for me because I have loved them all.
