Great story, excellent narration!

Overall it was good. I really liked the Heroine up until right before they returned. Her thought process portrayed her as selfish and beyond stupid. Willing to betray someone so badly and being stupid enough to believe they'd actually keep their word. It was maddening.

I read reviews bashing this book for glorifying rape and thought it'd be like "a hunger like no other" in which there were true rape scenes ...it wasn't anything like that.

Books that glorify rape and abuse enrgage me to no end. This certainly wasn't one of them.

Another solid read in the series

Robert Petkoff nails the narration again. He makes the stories better to listen to then read...though i do both :) and that's saying a lot. Carrow is super funny and sassy and a little trashy. Worth the credit.

Malcolm….that is all

I don’t know what it is exactly, the story, the spice, the conflict, or the man but I’m stuck stuck stuck.
Carrow and Malcom are full of feelings, and bad pasts but they come together so well❤️

PHEWEE FLAWLESS..... SIMPLY FLAWLESS

I want to thank Ms Cole for her gifted imagination, her many hours of work, her thought filled days, maybe sleepless nights conjuring up this exciting, riveting and emotional adventure and say that every lost hour, every minute and every second was so worth it as you've brought yet another spellbinding addition to the Immortals After Dark series. I don't mind my bloodshot eyes or my fatigue because you gave me a listen that I just couldn't, and wouldn't, break from until my bedroom grew light and the birds began to welcome a new day.

You gave me a proud but lonely, tortured and tormented Demon that I sympathised with, cherished and hoped he got his much deserved HEA, a Witch that first betrayed him but was loyal and loving in the end and a suspense filled plot that was filled with action, heartache, passion, drama, witty dialogue, snappy one-liners and humor, sizzling sexual chemistry, hot sex and paranormal beings that were gruesome, bloodthirsty, gifted, weird and wonderful. Then you teamed all that with the much loved characters from previous books and added new ones that thrilled, chilled and totally entertained me.

The final cherry on top was to have it read by the Maestro himself as Robert Petkoff's many accents enriched an already bulging story and breathed life and soul into it's many characters.

Worth a credit? It would be a definite thumbs up YES but this was under $10 so I bought it, saving my credit for another time.

Vividly but not boring descriptions

A few of the dark Hunters

Have you listened to any of Robert Petkoff’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, this was the first

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Several

Any additional comments?

A modern beauty and the beast, man, I fell in love with the beast and the heroine. It's a must read book for paranormal romance freaks. And I bet you'll fall in love with Malcolm and Carole also

So good, also sad.

This book made me feel really bad for Malcolm. The writing was superb. I have re-listened to this book, but I skip over the sad parts. I can barely listen to the parts where Carrow & Malcom silently get to know each other, because I know what is going to happen and that evokes a bunch of apprehensive feelings.
Wish I could say more, but it might spoil the Emotional Roller Coaster for the next person.

The sexiest man of the series!

Adore “Immortals After Dark”. I’ve read Kresley Cole’s books for over 12 years now and this one is one of my favourites. It was my first time listening to it though, and I have to admit that Robert Petkoff makes it even better! Kresley is back!!! And I can’t wait to get to Munro at last :)

favorite heroine so far

I am laughing my butt off and I haven't even made it a third through this story. Kresley Cole you just get better and better. and Mr petcoff is as always probably the best narrator I've ever heard. this story is just to die for funny. Caro the heroin is like I was in high school..... just rotten and dirty to the core, but truly good and loving and brave. LOL I just love this story.!!
