Delightful

This was a delightful book to listen to. I listened to it over the holidays. It was a romantic, heartwarming escape. I also enjoyed the narrator. She gave the characters distinctive voices that added to the listening experience. I'll be downloading other books by this author.

worth listening to over and over

not only was this a great love story, it was a message about family. I love the story and the message.

cute, sweet

The is my first Susan Mallory book and I liked it. I read the reviews and learned this is the first book in a series of 4 so I plan to listen to them in order. The characters are good and I look forward to hearing about how the lives of the other brothers and sister turn out. Gloria is a human nightmare and I hope at some point she softens. This is a typical romance book but who doesn't like happy endings!

Delectable Series

This is the first of the 3 (4th due out soon) Buchanan Series. It is fun, sexy, intriguing and informative (I had no idea what went on before receiving my delectable meals at fine dining establishments), entertaining and warming. I love all three (so far) of these gems but be certain to read them in order. I read them out of sequence and had to re-listen to one of them to pick up on several past characters that were glanced over in later books. Listen and enjoy!

Loved it!

I bought this title because I love Therese Plummer and thought the story sounded interesting. It was perfect; the kind of book I enjoy the most. I read to escape the real world and don't like sorrow and sadism. Some sorrow is necessary, but sadistic suffering isn't. This book was a delight. The worst thing I could say about it is the sex scenes are a little too descriptive, but all in all, it's one of my favorites. Very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.

Nice first book in a series

Therese Plummer is a great narrator. She has the perfect casual style for a romance novel. The plot and characters were well developed, although predictable.

Thought it was a cute story.Could’nt get into the whole romance while pregnant thing,but all characters were fun and narration was great.

DELICIOUS

I loved this book, her writing is very similar to Susan Elizabeth Phillips which I love. I downloaded the other 3 books in the series and looking foward to a good listen. I wish they would add more downloads from this author, I made the request. I hope to find more funny, romantic books.

Only if they want something short but cute…

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have made it a little bit longer, maybe a hostel takeover of the company leaving Gloria OUT and definitely more at the end. I liked the ending but I would have enjoyed knowing more of what happens to everyone.

Really well written romance

This book would have been a 5 Star - it is well written, the story is interesting, the characters have some depth - however the ending was rushed and the story looped back once too often, we resolved the ‘drama’ three times, seriously that’s enough. Then some time on happily ever after - rather than the 30 second rush at the end.
The story was interesting enough I already have the second book in my library
