Great narrater

Kristen Potter makes me feel like I'm actually part of the story. I feel like I'm right there in the book. It helps that the story line was written well also.

Krista and Etienne

Etienne is one of the Immortal Guardians keeping humans safe from Vampires. Krista and her brother Sean have been killing Vampires for six years. Etienne discovers them one night and begins to watch out for them. When Krista is in extreme danger from a Vampire attack Etienne saves her. After reassuring her he is not a Vampire they start to work together. Smart and humorous dialogue and great characters Mike this series well worth it.

I love the whole series and listen to it again

It's not boring it keeps going and there is no drag your leg time.z

What was one of the most memorable moments of Darkness Rises?

The whole alien thing.

The narrator was really good and I didn't foresee any problems with her performance

Love the comedy relief of Rash’s second, Sheldon!
As a woman, and not too dainty, I believe a fainting spell would be appropriate when a supernatural shock is felt. None have done so. I forgive Krysta but new ones?? A swoon would have been romantic

Kirsten Potter is a wonderful reader.

I'm wondering why don't the college administration understand that there students are no longer present or not being seen in their classes. Book 3.5 should of been added to Book 3, cause now a few mishaps in the twins lives has changed, & makes you wonder what happen in book 3.5, nuts. I'm now looking for the book just to be updated.
Other than that, this book is very exciting, wondering if they'll catch their accusers that harm every immortals life.
Very good read, and overall can't wait to listen to the next series .

The story keeps you wanting to listen. The characters are interesting and likeable. The narration is excellent. Looking forward to listening to the next book.

Good but didn’t care for the main woman

I’ve become a big fan of this series and I’d say this book was good but what made me pull away was actually the main woman. Usually I love the girls in the books because their powerful,sexy, and just have great personalities. This one not so much....Her lack of concern for others was I think what turned her off for me. She knew she was hurting her brother and then the Main guy when she started hunting with him yet just kept doing it and just saying she felt guilty but never stopped. As for the rest of the story I loved it! Sibling/family connections, a hot male lead, and absolutely amazing voice performance!! Looooooove the French accent!

The Best

Etienne's story is my favorite of all the Immortal Guardian stories. Kirsten does such a great job narrating. Love this series!

First Thought when Finished: Darkness Rises is my favorite in the series so far!

Story Thoughts: I want to start by saying that I have been WAITING for Darkness Rises for a LONG time! Pretty much the second I finished Phantom Shadows I was chomping at the bit to get a hold of this book. I was not disappointed. I was surprised how much I loved the direction that Darkness Rises took the Immortal Guardians. It seem the situation is changing and our guardians are having to adjust. Plus the more special humans that join the ranks the better. I really liked the mix of action and romance in this one too. Krysta and Etienne had an amazing connection!

Character Thoughts: LOVED Krysta! I really thought in the beginning she was going to be to "off-putting" but after learning her back story, it just fit. She was strong and was really good at what she does. Etienne has always been fantastic! It was nice to get a whole book for him. I loved seeing all the other Guardians/Wives/Seconds we have come to love. Specifically little sister and angel boy! I can't wait to see where that goes :)

I love Kirsten! She is one of my favorite narrators. Her pacing, timing, and emotions are always pretty spot-on with the characters of the Immortal Guardians. Heck, I even had this book to read and chose to listen to it.
