As good as 1-4 in the series

Kresley Cole delivers what I'm looking for when I want to read/listen to a romantic paranormal adventure story. Action, adventure, drama and comedy are delivered in just the right dose. This is not a light weight, fluffy romantic comedy. Fully suspense packed, I found it difficult to turn off. I just had to know what happened next. If you've listened to books 1-4, you know what you're getting. More of the same -- and that's a good thing! The narrator, as usual, does an amazing job. His range is truly impressive. I'd buy a book just because he's the narrator, he's that good. If you've read and enjoyed Jeanine Frost or Dianne Duvall, you'll most likely enjoy Kresley Cole, especially if you favor the action-adventure component. So, why only 4 stars? I get a little tired of the relationship back & forth, two steps forward, three steps back, over and over. A small criticism overall.

names weren't pronounced correctly

love the book, great reading voice but the names. The "E.s" are silent when pronouncing the names

I'm in love w/this series.

I am astounded that each of these books keep getting better & better! I would highly recommend this one. I was waiting for a book that focused on the demons.

demons and ghosties and more....oh yeah!

This is a sparkling example of why Kresley Cole is on my faves list. Paranormal suspense, nose snort laughing moments, and a love that outshines the sun.
There aren't many male narrators that bring every character to life but Robert Petkoff not only brings them to life but plants pictures in my mind to go with their voices. In short, this is a phenomenal story!

Second favorite

This is my second favorite of the series. Poor Holly had to find out that some men lie to get what they want: sometimes good and sometimes bad intentions.

Yes, I love all of Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. They are great books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dark Desires After Dusk?

When Holly finds out her boyfriend is taking credit for all of their research and not giving any to Holly. After that she dumps his sorry butt.

Have you listened to any of Robert Petkoff’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

As always, Robert is wonderful. He really brings the story to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, sadly it was just not possible. Life does get in the way sometimes.

Great addition to the series. The books just keep getting better and better. Loved this book. I hope Audible brings the entire series to life.

Welcome to the Dark Side.

Not my favorite in the series, but still a great addition. A road trip full of the lore, my kind of book. I liked both the characters really well. The one thing that made this story a four star instead of a five star was all the lying that Cade did. I understand why he did it, I only know that I didn't like how he went about it. I really liked the OCD part and all the back and forth going on between Holly and Cade. Kresley Cole has become an automatic download for me. Narrator is awesome.

My favorite so far!

So far my favorite in the series. Although, if I had been Holly, I never would have trusted Cadeon. Cadeon made me angry on more than one occasion and I think she was too forgiving too soon after his deceit. He is one lucky demon. Excellent story, now what is going on with Ridestrum and will the Roth's bring the girls back any time soon?

This one is my favorite so far! I didn’t want it to end. I loved the banter between the 2 main characters. And the narration was perfection. I highly recommend!
