An old favorite but terrible narration
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
The book has always been a favorite, but I can't recommend the audio version.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Brie is strong and competent and finds comfort in her home.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Fiacre Douglas?
I would have preferred a female narrator. This narrator talked too fast when speaking female roles. To make matters worse, he made Gray about as lifeless as a brick. No inflection, no feeling behind any of his dialogue. The narrator was literally just reading at times with no effort.

Beautifully Heart touching volume of a wonderful series
This is quite probably and Roberts best series. All 3 volumes are comprised of compelling characters, in a beautiful setting with plots that tug at your heartstrings right through to the deeply satisfying conclusions. Stories to own and revisit from time to time.
