Obsessed with this series!

These books are like 50 Shades of Grey with better writing and characters. I picked to listen to this story on a whim and it was fantastic. The author creates such chemistry between Eva and Gideon. Seriously, this has taken over my life. I am not sure if that’s a completely good thing just yet!

AMAZING SERIES & AUTHOR!!

I absolutely LOVE this series! Sylvia Day wrote an amazing story that flowed beautifully!

Jill Redfield has a beautiful voice & it’s calming. BUT, Ava is in her young twenties. Jill does not sound like a young 20-something year old woman. So for me personally, it wasn’t as good as it could have been. Like I said, Jill has an amazing voice & she did a great job narrating. I just think it could’ve been better with a younger sounding voice to match the character’s age.

Did I miss something.... I still do not know what had specifically happened to Gideon.....?????

Parallels "Fifty Shades of Grey" to some extent but far better written.

Could be a how to book on sexual encounters/making love.....

I would have preferred some kind of story line along with the character interaction.

Aspects of characters become distorted at times. Both characters were too "over the top."

I appreciate the narrator's soothing voice.

If you like 50 shades then this is a must read!

I loved this book it was very much like 50 shades. He is masculine and protective. The scenes are very well decribed.

Dark but Passionate

If you could sum up Bared to You in three words, what would they be?

Hot, steamy, and dark.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Male lead Gideon. What's not to love? Mysterious, passionate, possevive, and loving....

Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first-will likely return for more.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Don't want to spoil anything...I will just say "parents house".

Any additional comments?

This is a dark journey that leads to redemption...There must be a part 2 as the ending left me wanting more.

Worth the read

The review title sounds a bit vanilla since this type of book needs to be judged for what it is and not that it is some type of classic read of course. I did enjoy it after reading 50 shades since it was a bit tamer. I think it might have been better if I had read this trilogy first since I think people might do the comparison and "Bared" would come up short in the "wide eyed" department.
I liked it enough to listen to book 2 of the trilogy but am waiting for later to see if I want to get book 3.

Good Story

Would you consider the audio edition of Bared to You to be better than the print version?

No. I had a hard time with the narrator's 'male' voice. It just bugged me.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

She did ok. Again, I didn't like her 'male' voice but otherwise she was great.

Just curious as to why in the print version the female is Eva but in the audible version it is Ava.

1st audio book I enjoy that much!

I had read the book and loved it so much that I wanted to re-read it before th 3rd installment comes out, but opted for the audio version instead.

It sure did, both times I read/listened to it. It made me laugh, but mostly cry!

The voice of Jill Redfield was PERFECT for this book. I will seek her other recordings for sure.

I believe the print version would be better.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

They really should have people with more emotion to read some of these books. Also should have both male and female reading the parts, not one person doing both.

Reninded me of 50 Shades, but waiting on the 2nd book...it leaves you hanging
