Publisher's summary

Amelia

Lego sets, Star Trek and junk food in my pajamas, these used to be how I would spend my safe and lazy days off. Now, what am I doing with my time? High-speed chases, running from Hellhounds, fighting witches, opening boxes that threaten the entire Vampire race, and stabbing bitches with my shoes.

But hey, at least I get to wear a pretty dress on my date. Now all I can hope for is that it isn’t one where people end up shooting at us again. That would be nice.

And all this was because I fell in love with a Vampire King. A Vampire King, who claimed me.

loved the plot

the narrator seemed monotone for me. the other narrators were pretty good, the first narrator of the Afterlife Saga was the best yet!! 🥰🥰

so are we not finishing this

Loved the book, wish we had not changed the narrator. Just wondering if they are ever going to finish the series, because they already started the next one.

Love the story

I love the story Stephanie does an amazing job writing. I love all the books. The narrator has a monotone voice and is so slow. I am pushing through the audio on 1,7 speed just to have her read normal. She reads so slow it drives me insane. She has one voice for all characters. Rebecca rains for for afterlife has a voice for all the different characters and nails pup perfectly along with the rest of the characters.

Narrator

Yes, it's hard to get used to a new voice, but I think the narrator is impressive as Lucius.

What happened?!?

Where is the passion? Where are the distinct character personalities? Why do each and every character sound the same? You really screwed the pooch with this one!! Too bad!

Snore, the narration is so bad

I've read and listened to both the Transfusion and Afterlife saga. If this new narrator does the rest of the Transfusion series, there is no way I'll be able to get through the rest. She makes the story just sound like a jumble of words, and it's hard to concentrate on what omis being said. On the plus side, if you're looking to fall asleep, this is the story to listen to.

Great story, but new narrator fell flat

An American character w/ a British accent?? I love this series and hope a new reader similar to the original can come back!
