Although the journey is challenging, Eckhart Tolle offers simple language in a question and answer format. The words themselves are the signposts to guide you on your journey. There are new discoveries to be made along the way: you are not your mind, you can find your way out of psychological pain, authentic human power is found by surrendering to the Now. When you become fully present and accepting of what is, you open yourself to the transforming experience of The Power of Now.

"One of the best books to come along in years. Every sentence rings with truth and power." (Deepak Chopra)
"A reminder to be truly present in our own lives and liberated from our past and future. It can transform your thinking." (O: The Oprah Magazine)
I have recently buddha however I am a Christian. I love how The ACRE Inc. many references to God to Jesus Christ as your titties in parable in the Bible. He is able to go back to the stripped-down essence of what the teachings really mean in their original context and for me is a Mormon; I loved how he teaches about our godhood and how God is within us because we are His true spiritual children. Any Christian will love the deep teachings of Tolle.
As a mental health worker, it taught me how people can free themselves from suffering and how I can have a deeper understanding of their struggles.
The chapter about our roles and privileges as a woman was earth shattering for me.
His relationship advice and how to access love and forgiveness was so important for everyone to know.
Overall this book helps you to improve every aspect of your life.
The perfect book to read after reading Broken Open by Elizabeth Lesser. Everything has been revealed and I am fully conscious. Total life transformation. Thank you for waking me up!
my first impression of This Book Is that is probably not for beginners. I do not think I would have understood the concepts in this book If I had not already been on the path of exploring. there is much that I can still not grass. I think it will take many times of reading this before I can fully understand what he's trying to say. I thought the oration was rather flat. I wish people could do these types of spiritual books without the monotone and ding dongs.
I'm starting to see how my mind has been sabotaging my ability to be at peace with what is. A very powerful and enlightening book. Narrator has a calming and zen like voice that brings inner calmness. The whole idea of what he says in this book will be hard to comprehend at first, but give it a chance…. you will not regret it. I don't recommend listening to this audio book if you are tired. I will keep listening to it over and over until I can find the power of living every now moment without worrying about the drag of every pass moment.
Loved how this book was interactive and had frequent questions answered by the author. This book has definitely opened my mind to possibilities and practices. A+ for my first audio book!
I've listened to it 5 times in the first month. this can change your life if you listen and practice. It takes a few weeks of dedicated practice but if you put the effort you will begin to experience something truly life changing. don't listen to the haters who said his voice was too boring, they probably didn't get the substance of the book in that case, they know not what they do.
