This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... worth it, but be patient
I love Eckhart's teachings and thoughts. This book was excellent for that, a little deep for me at times, but worth it. Yes, there was VERY annoying background breathing and laughter as others have pointed out. I have listened to this a number of times and do get more out of it each time (as I do most audibles). The questions at the end were useless for me, but that is for me, maybe you will get something out of them. Do purchase it.
