I really love the characters. They are witty and their banter is highly entertaining. This is one book I couldn’t stop listening to. The narration was superb! I can’t wait for the next book!

Hunger Games meets Divergent in this second installment, Psycho Fae, continuing Sadie’s fumbling journey from the shifter world into the Fae realm. She has no idea where she came from or who her parents were. Add in 4 men who alternate trying to pull alpha dominance over her in daily routines while making her unmentionables damp at the most in opportune times plus a snarky humor and wit that she employs at every opportunity, and you’ve got a story worth reading. I alternated reading and listening to the narration on this one and have to say that despite it being a singular narrator, she does an outstanding job of bringing the story to life. I enjoy her different voices for the different characters. Whichever way you choose to read (or listen) I promise you will enjoy it!

So glad I re-listened

I first listened to this a while back and only the first 2 books were available. Now the third is out and Aran has a spin off, so I decided to start at the beginning to refresh my memory before starting the third book.
I forgot how FUNNY Sadie was! The sass, the dark humor, the brutal honesty about bodily functions! It makes her as real and relatable as she can be (coming from a paranormal omega verse).
The author does have a tendency to overuse certain words and the narrator has some odd/borderline annoying enunciation issues. But I am willing to look past that because the story actually has meat to it.
Yes, there are steamy bits, but there is a well thought story line, subplots, and moral messages as well.
Definitely worth the credits! But please pay attention to the trigger warnings in the beginning.

I finally found what the voice was in her head. I’m so ready for them to finally all be together. This mysterious cloak guy must play a major part because he has been playing games in the background. Who is he? Will they find Erin and make take the throne? What challenges will Cobra face now learning his lineage? Who are the elite? I’m ready to read more!

Hilarious and unput downable (I made up words)

I haven’t laughed this hard in a while. So good. There is friendship and sexual tension. The angry shifter men are so gruff and hilarious. I seriously couldn’t get enough. The main character isn’t a weak woman who cries all the time. She is badass and hilarious. The tiger part literally keeps me laughing. I also love Erin. I wish I could receive a necklace from her.

can't wait for book 3!

I love this series so much Sadie is absolutely one of my favorite characters EVER! Her humor and sarcasm is beyond funny! I don't know how many times I had people looking at me with my headphones on because I was laughing out loud! Sadie talking about wanting to go through a hoe phase 🤣🤣I have read book 3 but can't wait for the audio to come out! Maeve York does a fantastic job.

Wow!

So much happens in this book! It’ll take a bit to unpack everything that was revealed in the continuing saga of Sadie and her men. Let’s just say that she’s her amazingly awkward self on steroids.

We learn a good deal more about Jax and Cobra which makes them so much more compelling as characters; this is truest for Cobra. He was my favorite character of the first book so I’m not all that surprised. Talk about OTT possessive alphahole! Still lite on the information about Ascher, but hopefully that will be remedied in the next book.

The revelations revealed in this book make the wait for them worthwhile. Mind that cliff however, it’s a doozy.

Maeve York does a phenomenal job narrating the story and bringing the characters to life.

Right on the most intense part it ended with a “To be continued”.

This was so but so good… so much will be revealed and it’s like the action and drama get even better. All in all only one scene where two of the male alphas got steamy not my cup of tea but it didn’t bother nor did it take away from the story.

I will definitely get the next book and don’t be discouraged this is so worth the credit even with a cliffhanger ending. ☺️
