Could use a different narrator

The narrator did this book a disservice. It made it feel more like a business book and thus less helpful and harder to want to listen to.

So very informative

I did not realize that so many of my bad habits directly relate to my imposter syndrome. I now have a toolkit to combatting it and am very grateful for having found this book.

Narration inappropriate

Wish I had bought the physical book… not just the voice of the reader but the performance diminished my engagement with this book. I follow Drs. Orbé-Austin on Instagram and love their content, and expected the book to be similarly engaging. I feel that the book was good but I would have much rather heard the authors reading it themselves, from the heart. The whole thing felt stiff, prescriptive and clinical.

A Good Place to Start

If you are unfamiliar with imposter syndrome and/or perfectionism, the content of this book will help you to recognize and understand your unique and common contributing factors, triggers, and reactions. The writers also take you on a path for creating your own interventions through self-care, the intentional reframing of thoughts and mindset. and building a support team to aid with processing, brainstorming, and accountability. The content was thorough, easy to follow, and engaging. However, if you are familiar with these concepts like me, you may not hear/read anything new. I found the audible version to be mildly repetitive (probably to ingrain the material) and far from life-changing as it did not reveal anything new to me. However, it did solidify a few things and I still found myself committing to the journey. So, that - in itself - deserves another star.

A must read to transform and thrive

Anyone dealing with imposter syndrome knows the extreme stress and negative thinking that can hinder thriving. This book is amazing at uncovering the why for the behavior and actionable steps to come out of imposter syndrome to really achieve true success. It helped me identify my own tendencies that were keeping me down: perfectionism and catastrophizing. Reading this book along with getting coaching have quickly transformed (within 2 months) my mindset and have been the best investments I’ve probably ever made. Complete transformation.

Great strategies to navigate Imposter Syndrome

One of the best resources to date, in helping one to navigate through imposter syndrome. I plan to also order the book to serve as a tangible and tactile way, to measure my growth as I work through, overcoming imposter syndrome. Excellent content.
