This is awesome

A book like this should be praised more by others. It's a rare book you won't find everywhere. Take a look at this. I recommend it. It talks about the brain and about a lot of things we should actually know more about.

Competent narrator

The storyteller seems rather competent, and the writer knows a lot about the theme. It may have had a few mistakes, but they did not subtract anything from the incredible information that this particular audiobook contains. You can discover a ton. I know I did.

Written from non-American English author

I tried valiantly to finish this book. I purchased in part because of it's 5 star rating, which in the end was sadly misleading.
The author means well, but there were three things that I found difficult.
One, the content level was more elementary and repetitive than I was hoping for.
Second, I found the English semantics distracting. I wasn't sure at first if the book was written in another language, with a cumbersome translation, or if the way English is used was just the Author's non-American linguistics.
Third, the author speaks a lot of her own experience with bulimia. Generally, a bit of personal perspective can give depth. I found the amount she shared more in line with a memoir than a science piece. Since I was searching for a more scientific summary, I gave up and did not finish the last half of the 3 book series.
