Fantastic

Fantastic story. Not only did it draw me in immediately but many parts of the story piqued my interest enough to send me to the Internet to learn more. Excellent blend of fact and fiction and plausible story. Also as usual for Lincoln Child a good mix of characters with depth. Over all a great book.

exciting to the end

Interesting story line, still don't understand some of the mechanics of several parts - but it's a story that keeps your attention with characters to love and hate. I would recommend - just have to suspend your disbelief in a few spots.

Good SciFi

I learned to truly enjoy the SciFi channel while I was in college (they always had movie marathons when I should have been studying). If you are like me, and enjoy watching the SciFi channel- you should like this book. I have really enjoyed Child's other books and though I was a bit hesitant to buy this one with all the mixed reviews- I'm glad that I did. I thought it was a good book. Not my absolute favorite, but I was entertained and will definitely listen to it again.

Not as good as Relic

I was somewhat disappointed with this one. It had too many parallels to Preston/Child's Relic (which is one of the best of this genre). Same basic plot, same characters (though not as well developed). Scott Brick does his usual fine job of narration.

3rd time listening to it. Scott Brick did a great job narrating. Full of action .

Good story

Jeremy Logan is not the main protagonist in this story, merely a secondary character. It's a good story none the less. Will continue with the series.

Terminal Freeze

Great story, lots of suspense and action in a way this reminded me of the Sci fi thriller movie The Thing.

Interesting.

I am still not sure what Jeremy Logan's role is. He is very unusual and unlike Pendergast his presence is not hugely productive. he almost plays the role of an observer. It took me twice as long to finish this book. I am onto the next in the series to see if more is revealed about him and what his missions are.

Fairly typical story but entertaining.

I enjoyed Terminal Freeze, it's clear who has more talent between Preston and Child, and it's obviously Child, who can paint a picture in your mind, you feel like you're with the crew. The character of Conti is a tad over the top, Jeremy Logan, who I understand is in other Child novels has nothing to do here,it was useless involving him. Scott Brick is an incredible narrator, he always is. It's sad he doesn't do Preston and child books any longer. As I said, the stories a little predictable and typical but it'll entertain anyone who's a fan of this type of book.

I enjoyed this book very much and the end makes you think about were we are today
