I love a good detective story. In that vein, I have read everything of Michael Connelly. If the book stuck to unraveling the mystery, I would have enjoyed it. But I don’t know what there was more of the mystery or descriptive sexual encounters which was really unnecessary. Probably won’t read anymore of the series. Buyer beware.

Like many audible books, this one dragged on far too long. The trial portion especially. While the story was good, I found myself bored at times. An abridged version would be much better.

Interesting story line
There were a few points that made me think "Just get on with it already!" but the Narration was superb. He read all the different character voices so convincingly. Great plot twist, I never saw it coming.
