Keeps you on your seat till the end.

I never could guess the ending. That’s what makes a 5 star book for me. It got a little wordy at times but I was just being impatient

Twists and Turns

This book took a few detours along the way that kept it interesting. The consistency of character development was good. At the end I was looking for what will happen next.

Interesting twist on environmental responsibility!

What did you love best about Below Zero?

The way the part of the teenage girl was written was excellent. Kept you guessing and wondering. The clues, twists and turns were intriguing.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Joe was my favorite character. He was so tortured by what happened in the past, and determined to make things right. Very nobel.

Which scene was your favorite?

Too many to choose from. One of the top few would have been the helicopter ride.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction, however, it kept me entwined and anxious to get back to listening as soon as I could.

I LOVE JOE PICKETT AND HIS FAMILY!

Once again C. J. Box has offered us a heart warming yet suspenseful mystery. He does a masterful job of combining the love of family and job duty. I don't grow tired of living the daily life with the main character, Joe Pickett. One thing that I'm really happy about is the constant narration of David Chandler. It wouldn't be the same "Joe Pickett" if the voice behind the character wasn't Chandler. It's a great series and I'm on to the next in line.

My favorite in this series so far!

Below Zero is SO GOOD!! One of my favorites in this series so far!! This is the ninth installment in the Joe Pickett series, building on the events of the third book in the series (Winterkill). Joe takes a leave of absence from work and decides to work a case on his own, somewhat outside of complete legality. Joe blurs the lines between his role within his family and his role in law enforcement and I was HERE FOR IT. I don't want to mention any details because every sentence is important and enthralling. Joe's daughter Sheridan helps him solve this case and listening to the two work together was awesome. Also, some very exciting things have taken place in Nate Romanowski's life since the last book. I loved every scene with Nate in this book and can't wait for more from him.

David Chandler's narration is spot-on, as always.

I'm Back.

so glad April is back. Great book as usual. Series would make a great TV or vetter yet Streaming season, streaming is so much better than TV these days. could see the ending coming, though. but it's the journey that counts. This journey is worth it.
