Publisher's summary

Inspired by her own true story, author Erin Spencer explores what happens when you get everything you never knew you always wanted.

I wasn’t looking for love. Putting down roots in this small, Southern town was the last thing on my mind.

Ben changed all that with his kind nature and gentle ways. Somehow, he painted over the cracks on the canvas of my heart. Never did I feel more alive than with my arms around his waist on the back of his motorcycle and my hair blowing in the wind.

But I was a nobody. To his family of wealth and privilege, I wasn’t worthy of him. And they were willing to do whatever it took to drive us apart.

Longing to stay by his side, I never wanted that summer to end. Yet, sometimes, true heartache molds us into who we were always meant to be....

So many OMG moments!!!!!

This book is beautifully written. Parts of it feel like you’re reading poetry. The way she describes not only the things around her but also the way she describes love, is inspiring. This book is amazing on its own, hearing why the author wrote it, makes it even more so. Buy this book! You won’t regret it! Although you may want to rethink putting in those AirPods and listening, while walking your dog through your apartment complex. If you do, take some Kleenex. I didn’t prepare and I’m pretty sure my neighbors are now concerned. So. Many. Tears. 😭❤️

the lump in my throat won't go away

Holy tear-jerker. Erin: thank you for writing your story. I'm sure that it was very therapeutic to write after so many years. Also thank you for sugar coating it a little for us, as I can not imagine the depth of emotion had you told the story as it were. You are a fantastic story writer and reader as well. Ava and Zach were perfect for the roles. I can't wait to hear a second chance romance that may follow this story!

One of my favorites this year!

Holy cow. Okay. ***deep breaths*** Wow. I want to start this by saying More With You is easily one of my top books of the year.

More With You is most definitely not your typical "love interest rejected by an insanely rich family" book. It is so much more. At the beginning, the author tells you this story is based on her own, and I think that just made everything feel more intense for me. Like I want to go give her a big hug and never let go. You'll cry happy tears and sad tears. You'll have to pick your jaw up from the floor at times. You'll be left wanting to storm off and slap some sense into a couple of the characters. And Mrs. T... Everyone needs a Mrs. T in their life. She's probably my favorite character in the book.

I've been listening to both Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber for years now, both as co-narrators and in their separate projects, and they both have magical voices. Ava Erickson's passion for her work is easily noticeable as she takes you on the emotional ride of this book. There wasn't a ton of narration by Zachary Webber in this Book, but his voice as Ben and reading his journal entries was very impactful, especially at the end of the book. When I thought I was finished crying, I was wrong. Having these two amazing narrators on this very special book gives this listen a cherry on top. I very rarely finish listening to a book and get the feeling that I need to listen to it again immediately, but I did with this one.

LOVED: Ben's journal.

FAVE QUOTES: Don't you ever let yourself hate. It's poison for the soul.

I truly feel like I'm in the presence of something greater than myself, than any of us - love.

PAIRS WELL WITH: Crawfish, cornbread, and Mississippi mud pie.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You need a love story to give you all the feels - laughs, love, anger, mourning, forgiveness, hope… it's all here.

LOOOOOOOOVED!!!!

ERIN SPENCER delivers a heart shatteringly beautiful and touching romantic comedy that is full to the brim with emotion, hope, and love. MORE WITH YOU is a fictionalized version of the author’s real life experience and despite any embellishments or changes, the raw emotion pours off the page like waves that soak into the reader/listener. On top of being superbly written, the story is narrated by Zachary Webber and Ava Erickson. Both devastatingly talented voice actors who magnify every single bit of emotion the story has to offer. More With You was a defiantly five star romance and I can’t recommend it enough!

Heartbreakingly beautiful and emotional story

Oh my, More With You was a heartbreakingly beautiful and emotional story that will pull at your heartstrings. Summer and Ben’s journey is difficult and painful and full of so much love and fun and passion. One obstacle after another is placed in their path, but love always finds a way.

Summer was such a wonderful character who was full of grit. She had been through so much in her life and yet she fought to come out on the other side. She was a survivor and it was not easy for her to trust and let someone into her life, but Ben overcame all of her doubts. His love makes her believe in herself and to begin to trust in a future.

Ben has my heart. His love for Summer was never-ending and everlasting. He would fight any obstacle, including Summer herself, in order to have a chance at her heart. He truly found his home when he found Summer and all he wanted was a chance to live out his life with her.

Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber narrate the audio and they are superb. They captured the emotions of the story perfectly. All of the love and pain and heartbreak and passion are reflected in their voices and they made me FEEL every word!

More With You absolutely devastated me. It’s messy, emotional, angsty, heartbreaking and full of so much love. It will leave you breathless and feeling so much. I commend the author for sharing such a deeply personal story. I wasn’t prepared for the emotions that this story made me feel and I will warn everyone to not listen at work. It broke me while also filling me with so much hope and peace.

Heartbreakingly Beautiful

This book is beautiful. This love story between Ben and Summer is filled with so much angst and emotional turmoil that you will want to have the tissues ready. When I  say all the feels, I  really mean it.
Summer is a strong, scrappy, hard working woman who's never had an easy life. She is a survivor thru and thru. She is the ultimate underdog and I was instantly enchanted by her.
Ben comes into her life and he is kind and a little bit quirky. But most importantly he is just a good person. And his connection with Summer is instant.
I loved the relationship these two form. They bring out the best in each other. And with the help of the two narrators (Zachary Webber and Ava Erickson) the raw feelings and emotions come thru with every word.
I was not a huge fan of how things ended up with Ben's mother. But other than that this was a stunning book that will stay with me for a long time.

Beautifully moving and emotional romance!

“He’s slow and attentive to every piece of me, as if he’s putting me together again when I had no idea I was even broken. I’m alive in his arms. More alive than I’ve ever been.”

Powerful, moving and emotionally gut wrenching, this audiobook broke my heart into a million pieces but the romantic journey to get there was worth it all. The love story between Ben and Summer was magical and poetic and is something that I won’t soon forget. Fate brought Ben and Summer together when she needed him the most, but Ben’s family was unwilling to bend and let an outsider into their elite world, making it extremely difficult for any form of happiness. My heart broke for the life Summer had endured up until that point and when she finally started to get a peek at happiness, Ben’s stubborn and vengeful family tried to take it all away. There was no denying the chemistry and love between Ben and Summer, while it may have seemed fast their love was the forever kind.

“How can a kiss feel like paradise? How can his lips on my skin feel like magic? I don’t understand it and I don’t want to. I just want to enjoy him, and this feeling, for as long as it lasts.”

Without spoiling anything, books like this always leave an indelible mark on my heart and make for a story that I continue to think about long after I’ve finished. With this one I especially loved the journal entry viewpoints from Ben, it gave insight into what he was feeling without chapters from his point of view. Overall this was a beautiful story about a women’s journey through love, loss and everything in between. I was left emotionally stunned by the end of the story, and the authors note, sobbing!

Ava and Zachary’s performance was so intense and moving that I felt as if I had lived the story with them. Listening to the diary entries from Ben narrated Zachary was like poetry for my ears, and the emotion behind Ava’s performance left me with feelings of longing and love. I definitely recommend listening to this one!

“I’m intoxicated by her. I can’t help it. I want to lay her down, naked, on my porch on a rainy Sunday, so I can paint the curves of her body and worship the canvases of her when she’s away from me.”
