Publisher's summary

Even a master thief can steal one thing too many.

From a childhood as an abandoned orphan to life as one of the city’s most skilled burglars, master thief Rafiq has long lived high off the wealth of Avanasia—its trade, its jewels, and its women. The vaults of Avanasia's merchants are as open to him as the legs of its most beautiful courtesans.

For in Avanasia, there is but one paramount truth: There are those who have, and those who take.

And Rafiq is one of the latter.

But when he steals an ancient heirloom blade from a powerful merchant, he sets in motion a series of events that will shift the delicate balance of power in the city. And he’ll need to assemble a unique and talented harem of girls to survive.

Master of Thieves: The Complete Series contains both volumes in this dark-fantasy harem adventure.

A great value and a great story overall!

The Complete Series of Master of Thieves by Michael Dalton is a great value and a great story overall. If you have read or listened to anything else from Michael, this is the set for you. The MC is great to read and watch him develop and his companions are more than just toys, they are an integral part to the story which is refreshing to see. I look forward to the next in the series and more from Michael in general. Audio Version: Actors Everywhere do]id a wonderful with this narration.

Well Done! Though the narration could use work

this book was very well done! I was surprised how well it flowed and built up a narrative. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a good fantasy read.
my biggest complaint is the narrators. Alyssa does well in this. She does, however, slip up every now and then and voices the wrong character with the wrong voice. Marcus was a little much for me. I have to commend him for giving a different voice to EVERY character in this book, but it can be a bit too much for me at times. Also, putting emphasis on or adding way too much emotion to scentences that didn't really warrant it. Less would have been more in this case.
outside of that, very well done. I look forward to reading more from this author

Good story

Michael Dalton consistently writes books that I really enjoy. This is one of those books. It has great story and good characters. The plotline moves along at a good pace as does character development. Alyssa Poon does an amazing job for all the female parts. Unlike some other female narrators, you can always tell who is talking just by the voice/accent being used. Overall this is a complete series that is definitely worth the credit.

There was a good blend of action and adult content.

The content in the book was fantastic. I didn’t really have a dislike. I thought it was written well overall.

a great bundle

a 2 for 1 deal with superb narration by Marcus and Alyssa who always delivers.
a different story about thieves which is unusual in a genre dominated by brutal warriors, so it's rare to see a protagonist who embraces the stealth

Intriguing world and excellent characters

It really goes along way when the setting and characters are what keep you drawn into a story. It essentially allows any sort of plot to work, both books have a very welcomed and interesting plot. But the characters and the world really are the staying factor that makes these books unique. Definitely worth checking out, just sad their aren’t more entires to this series

A 1, 2 punch combo!!!

Both books by themselves are worth the price, both books for the price of one is an absolute bargain, well worth the price. Now my only complaint is that these books were recorded back when Marcus still had a bad habit of unnecessarily over-emphasize, overacting, or overdramatizing his performance. So some might be put-off, but this book is well worth it.
