Excellent book for any competitor

This book allowed me to think and believe like a champion both on-and-off the field. It taught me valuable lessons, such as staying determined, setting goals and striving toward them on a daily basis, as well as keeping your mentality stable even when things get rough. I believe that every athlete, competitor, coach and even everyday people in our society could benefit themselves by reading this. It will teach them everyday valuable lessons that they can use through their work, competitions, etc. I certainly recommend this book to all who are interested!

Like training for a marathon

As a busy professional, I needed an insightful yet practical book to help me build life-long habits specific to leadership skills. Like training for a marathon, effective leadership takes practice. In the Leader Habit, Martin Lanik provides an excellent framework to modify your behavior, and build leadership skills through daily exercises.

Changed my Life!

The greatest. From my experience in reading books of this kind (sports psychology, mental training, etc.) this is the greatest one. Specifically for practical real-life application. The information is so useful and potent that it's the kind I would not just share with the average person for motivation. I would only give it to people who are serious about becoming a champion. If that's you, I would highly recommend this book.

Inspiring

This was a great read. It brought to light some points that I was missing in my game. While some things didn't translate to my sport it very valid points that got my mind right for competition.

Perfect narration

This book is EVERYTHING! I’ve put off reading it for so long because life and stuff but I read it in one day. Given, if I did take more time to learn the numerical memorization part it’d been a few more days. I think the concept for that is good but confusing. I can see how it’s like a new language which seems interesting but I don’t need that right now. Outside of attempting to solidify that section, I was able to create some awesome journeys and they work. Forward and backwards... THEY WORK! It’s funny how you know our senses are connected to memory but we just don’t hone into it. I remember a professor back in undergrad nearly two decades ago had used visuals and imagery to help us remember the first twelve presidents but I didn’t pick up on it that fast.
