Publisher's summary

The heart-wrenching follow-up to Bad Idea, a romance of star-crossed lovers in the city that never sleeps.

Six months ago, I gave my heart to a girl. Beautiful, kind, and sexy as sin, she's the only person who saw past my record or the color of my skin. Who ever saw me for me.

She loved me enough to let me go, let me leave this city to find my own path.
But without her, I drift, lost without direction. Without me, she spirals, desperate for connection.

I gave my heart to a girl, and she gave hers to me. But love shouldn't hurt this much.

Contains mature themes.

A true capture......

Absolutely love this book. Having been in an abusive relationship myself, Ms. French has capture the reality of what really can, and usually does, happen. Thank you for putting into words the guilt, confusion and hurt I could never quite explain to those around me. Thank you for pointing out how much we all need a hero in our lives and how, every now and again, it is the everyday characters that truly save us.
