good short book

This book was super funny right off the bat even my husband was laughing. It was a pretty good story. The only issue I had is some of the sentences were repeated twice in a row it just needs some better editing

Was a good start

This was the first book from this author that I have read. I liked enough to read the sequel just to find out what happened after this book ended in a cliffhanger. The characters in this book are diverse cast of people with out there personalities that I could relate to. I think the story would have been better if the book was longer giving the author the opportunity to flesh out the characters some more.

Really enjoyed

Fun shifter romance. Great start to new series. has me hooked for the next book.

Down and dirty

To the bemusement of Calista‘s family she’s always getting down and dirty whether it’s with her job or with Dawson the new fire fighter at least that’s what she wants to get down and dirty to the bemused family of Calista she always gets down and dirty wethor it’s at her job as a detective where she serves under her father or with the new paramedic Dawson at least she wants to get down and dirty with Dawson. Until then she will keep breaking the rules and making her own and this greatly crafted book. Her and her bear or raring to go her bear usually is more raring than she is.

Good story bad narrator

I did enjoy the story but had a hard time listening to the narrator. This should have been a quick listen for me but I had to stop several times because of narrator. She simply read the story and for me a good narrator bring the story to life. That did not happen.

Good story

I enjoyed the story, the plot, and the characters. I did not enjoy the narrator, she enunciated things too forcefully and made several characters too ditzy for the story. There were also a few lines read twice in a row. Otherwise, great!

First time reading author

This was a first book of LC Taylor read by Holly Holt that I’ve read/listened to. I enjoyed Holly’s voice; she has a good timbre. Also, the story was really interesting. The ending was perfect for someone like me where the story heats up and leaving me wanting more. I need to know what happens next. On to book 2!!

Love reads about siblings in them. Makes a very good story and I loved this one. Started off very good and didn’t disappoint me. Narrator did a fantastic job also.

This is a fun read that has a bit of romance, a bit of mystery and action. in this the first book in the series we meet Callista and she gets into a bit of trouble that sends her back to patrol until news comes that rocks her family. how is she going to juggling this and the hot guy she just met?
