Publisher's summary

He was just a boy. And I was just a girl. But if that's all there was to the story it wouldn't be very interesting, would it?

Up and coming band Willow Creek is back in their hometown for the summer. For the drummer, Maddox Wade, this summer was meant for writing music and playing gigs. Falling in love was not part of the plan.

One look at Emma Burke and those plans cease to matter.

Emma is quiet and guarded. She's still hurt from her father walking out two years ago. She doesn't want to trust Maddox, but with his dark hair, smoldering good looks, and infectious smile he's impossible to resist.

Together Maddox and Emma embark on an unforgettable summer of adventures and first love. Everything is perfect...or so Emma thinks.

There are things she doesn't know, and when she finds out the truth it might shatter everything she's built with Maddox.

No one said love was easy, and for Maddox and Emma it just might be impossible.

Loved it

Last To Know is a sweet, fun, entertaining YA novel about first love. This novel had such amazing characters who you will love and will be rooting for through out the story. The extended characters brought life to the story and were a major support to the main characters. This novel was one adventure after another and I enjoyed going on this journey with Maddox and Emma.
I listened to the audible version of this novel. It was narrated by Kate Richardson who did a fantastic job in voicing these characters. She brought the story to life and I enjoyed listening to her.
Last To Know was a refreshing page turner that will have you hooked until the end. I loved it and would highly recommend it to all lover of YA romances.

Sweet Read

This book is such a sweet Read. The friendships in this story feel so genuine, I was sad when I reached the end. The narrator does a fantastic job.

So cute!

What an adorable summer read! I LOVE the YA first love stories, and this book did not disappoint. All the butterflies and wreckless infatuation included!

Narrator could have made pauses between sections a little more pronounced to avoid confusion. Sometimes I didnt realize there'd been a change of time and place because the narration didnt reflect a new section within the book. Granted, this could fall under the producer's responsibility, but regardless it broke me out of my audiobook enjoyment when I had to figure out where the story had gone.

A Rockin’ listen

I’ve read this story before and I enjoyed it much! So I was excited to get to listen to the audio. The story was still great. I liked it being “acted out.” I can imagine the scenes as they were being read to me. I do need to get used the narrator’s voice but after a while I was able to get into the story. I enjoyed this performance. Overall, it was great. I hope there are more of Micalea’s stories to come to Audible.

Hmmm

I truly truly love this book and series. I've read the book so many times and I LOVE Emma and Maddox. If you haven't emersed yourself into this series, I implore you to do so. Let me go on by saying I'm an avid audbile subscriber and listen to books every single day. Every day. One thing I do love about most books are the narration and getting to respond to some of the characters because of the narrators. It makes me love the characters more in most instances. However, it wasn't the case with this one. The way the H was narrated and the best friend was narrated made it hard to listen to. Maybe it was me because I'm so picky. Not sure. However if you don't know this story maybe you will love it. I'm disappointed in myself for feeling this way.

The story line was good. However the narrator needs to work on their male voice impressions. Maddox sounded like a fast talking robot rather than a teenage boy.
