I LOVED Hail Mary!!

I loved this book so much. I loved the characters, the side characters from the other books and the way Leo and Mary’s story played out. This was perfection and such great narration!

Football and enemies to lovers

What an ending to this amazing series! Playboy Leo and the tattoo loving neighbor Mary have some history after all. Pipes burst in her rental and Leo come to the rescue offering a place to stay. After begrudgingly taking his off, she has made friends with the other guys, cleaned up the house, and stayed at odds with Leo. With his apprenticeship going well and closing in on a finish with her own chair in the near future, things heat up with Leo. He’s hot on the field as she is at the tattoo shop. These enemies sure can turn to lovers, but in true Kandi Steiner form it’s a full rollercoaster! Heartache, growth, and love is the recipe for this one.

Didn’t think it could get better than reading this book!

Wow!!!!! Perfect choice for both narrators, brought this story to life! I loved the whole series that I easily binged last month, especially loving Hail Mary. Listening to those spicy scenes, swooooon! Ugh can’t wait to listen again in the future when I need a little Leo and Mary in my life.

Great way to wrap the series!

Although these are stand alone books, I’m so glad that I listened to all of them in order. It gave finality to all the stories and characters. As a sports fan, it was good to see some of that sprinkled into the stories but not overwhelm it. I think I have a new favorite author.

The best in the series

Why did I just know that Leo was going to be the most incredible Kandi character I’ve ever read?! She really did the most with this man. And Mary?? What a strong, stubborn woman. I love both of these characters so much. And their love story was so perfect. Megan Wicks was so perfect as Mary, and Gabriel was an awesome Leo too. I loved this so much

Sweet and spicy and TOSTONES

Gorgeously written and narrated! Such a great plot that didn’t feel too dramatic, though truly heart wrenching at times (I clapped my hand over my mouth several times at different twists and turns in the story)! Also listen to this audiobook if you’re not familiar with (or if you love delicious descriptions of) tostones - you will go out and buy the ingredients immediately!!!

Mary and Leo are so perfect in this!

This is my favorite of the 4 books in the series and I couldn't wait to hear it on audio and it did not disappoint! Gabriel has the perfect lilt to his voice and when he speaks in spanish *fans self* whoo boy, and Megan's voice could not be a more perfect Mary. She has a sexy gravel to her voice and her sarcasm and mannerisms were an exact match for Mary. I could not love this audio version more and can't wait to listen on repeat for a comfort read any time.
