Publisher's summary

There are three rules to surviving the Fae—and I'm about to break every single one.

Rule #1. Never cross into Faerie.

When I'm chased across the wicked border and caught by its reclusive ruler of the sky, the pretty trickster with a clever tongue offers me a deal.

Rule #2: Never bargain with a Fae.

But I don't have a choice. For thirteen days, I have to survive in his mountainous maze of sinister paths, deceptive stairways, and devious creatures. Refuse, and my sisters will suffer as punishment.

Rule #3: Never fall for the enemy.

I should have known my sexy captor wouldn't play fair. The deeper I plunge into this dangerous world of Solitary Fae, the more I'm entangled in their ruler's seductive web of desire—and the forbidden temptations he offers.

The price of losing this wicked game is everything I love. But winning might just cost me my heart.

Kiss the Fae is the first book in Natalia Jaster's scorching fantasy romance series, Dark Fables: Vicious Faeries. If you like heavy steam, enemies to lovers, and morally grey book boyfriends, be prepared to swoon for the villain. Intended for mature listeners.

Words Magically Become Real

The written book was a wonder of Magic’s fairytales love on many forms and lots of 🔥. The special writing style of Natalia Jaster includes many poetic passages that enhance the story
And makes readers /listeners spellbound . I have written reviews on the books which are under Robin Manor. Perhaps first reading then listening is the most enjoyable way to experience this special world.
Both narrators were phenomenal although I do wish there was more Tim Campbell included. Now I am on pins and needles waiting for the rest of the series to come to audible.

This is an AMAZING audiobook!!!

Natalia Jaster never disappoints with her amazing prose, unique stories and captivating characters.

I fell in love with Lark and Cerulean in Kiss the Fae. It is such a unique and entertaining story of humans and fae. It’s whimsical and deceitful. It’s brutal and tender. It’s exciting and spicy.

My reading experience with Kiss the Fae was with the audiobook. The narrators, Amanda Leigh Cobb and Tim Campbell did a phenomenal job capturing the essence of this story. The next book in the series, Hunt the Fae is out you better believe I used this month’s audible credit on it!

Glamoured through the pages *Swoon*

Narration
Tim Campbell voice sounds familiar and yet different, even if he only narrated a chapter, it was a narration that caught my attention. I look forward to hearing him more throughout this series. Amanda Leigh Cobb narration was captivating and the accent helped with the fae language. This kept me glamoured with this book.

Story
This story was captivating and i love the challenge aspect to this story. The character were amazing and the world building was entertaining. The author kept reminding the reader of important components of this series and help remind us that the other sisters are also being challenged. Of course there were spicy scenes but this story felt slow burned with sexual tension in every gaze.
This story was a nice enemies to lover in the best way. I haven't been able to find an enemies to lover that actually read as an enemies to lovers story UNTIL NOW.

Lark
This character is amazing, sexual, and independent. She will give any man a run for their money. The author did an amazing job making this character snarky but loveable for the readers and the MMC. I hope that we see a bit of her in the rest of the series.

Cerulean
This character was highlighted to a point in this book and i loved his role when it came to the FMC in the beginning and most definitely throughout the story it shifted but it was magical hehe He definitely fought will all his might to not want her but he fell and i lived for it.

Imaginative world building

Overall very good read although slow in beginning. Don't understand why Audible says both male and female narration but then you only hear male voice at the very end. I hope the other books include more information on backgrounds of two sisters. The cruelties between both human and fae worlds were atrocities that both sides seem to strive towards changing. The MF was confusing to me in that she acts like fae in story but the story depicts her as human. The MM character was weak in my opinion for not trying harder to find and thank MF for saving him. The dialog between the MC was fun to read.

"Any love worth sharing's got to have jagged edges, especially if it's forbidden."

I was drawn in from the first word. The narrator did an incredible job from the accents and differentiating between her head and speaking voice, as well as the few other characters that had dialogue, to the cadence, flow and inflections. I was so sad that the MMC only had one POV chapter because his voice actor was also incredible. The story itself. This was technically a reread for me but it was really the first time. I skimmed so badly when I read it last (trying to get to the "good stuff") that I missed EVERYTHING. The tension and angst, the foreshadowing, the lyrical writing style, the "to the reader" story telling, the all important message to honor nature because we are irrevocably tied to it. Throw in some found family, a Jareth-inspired MMC, enemies to lovers, and fa(e)ted mates and I'm hooked. I'm eager to hear Juniper's and Cove's stories and learn how they fix the rift between their people.

Like Charismatic Tricksters? Jaster May Be Your New Favorite Author.

So, I discovered Natalia Jaster's work in my younger years as a part of my (still ongoing) phase of devouring anything "enemies-to-lovers" with sexy, fae-adjacent, charismatic-trickster male villains. Ever since then, I have been DYING to hear her work brought to life in audio form, and pre-ordered the audiobook sight-unseen, which can be a risk, as a good or fun story can be torpedoed by an incompetent performance.
THIS AUDIOBOOK ABSOLUTELY DELIVERS! GET IT! THEN GET THE REST OF THE SERIES IN AUDIO FORM, AND THEN PETITION THE AUDIOBOOK OVERLORDS FOR JASTER'S TWISTED KINGDOMS SERIES!
If you have spent any time as part of the Labyrinth Fandom, you will recognize a few of the influences in this book, but it is unquestionably a different story, executed masterfully by Jaster and her imagery.

Absolutely brillaint

"You dont rule the skies, They do"... jaw dropped...
I absolutely love Natalias books as they are but being able to dive into the world via audiobook just hits different! Its a fantastic story and Cerulean and Lark are the oerfect match of stubborn, feisty, caring and just overall a perfect match. If you want enemies to lovers. Fae x Human. This is the book for you! I cannot wait to hear book 2! Especially if Puck is in it 😏 Well done to the actors and thank you again for bringing Natalias amazing book to life! ❤️

Loved the Banter

Humor of female character was a break from the common fae romance novels. New take on fae and human relationships. Enjoyed this book and excited to read the other sister’s stories.

Perfect performance!!

This is still one of my five star reads! This is one of my most favorite fantasy series! It is the epic fantasy romance, that we all crave and want with deliciously vicious Fae. An amazing labyrinth retelling that is better than anything I could imagine! I have read this book before, and was lucky enough to receive the audiobook that has just been released and let me tell you it is worth it! Such a well done audiobook! Amanda Cobb with her accent for Lark is perfect. Of course Tim Campbell‘s voice is like smoked honey, dripping over bacon! Sultry and rich, and smoky! If that man could read to me every night, I would have the best sleep! And the best dreams…. This is the perfect fantasy, spicy romance in any form, but the audiobook performance is exceptionally done!

Absolutely delightful…with the right amount of spice

This was one of the best reads I’ve had since getting back into reading and lingering in the Romantacy genre. I adored the FMC and that’s been a struggle for me in this genre. Usually it’s a very young trying too hard girl that ends up grating my nerves midway through the book. A strong FMC doesn’t have to equate to a sassy mouth at every turn and an endless game of let me play to hard to get and be a brat. Just my venting but only to emphasize the fact that I like to highlight the authors when I find myself still rooting for the FMC at the end of the book. Definitely moving on to Book 2 even though it focuses on a different sister-
