Two years after the murder of Sadie Cambridge, Hope Hadley is still reeling over her friend's death. When Walter Clayton is put on trial for the murder, Hope believes that at least justice will be served. So when Walter is astonishingly acquitted, it sends shock waves through the entire community.

But Walter's freedom doesn't last long. The next day, he is found murdered.

This is one case that Hope wants nothing to do with. Unfortunately, when members of the Cambridge family become prime suspects in Walter's murder, Hope begins investigating in hopes of exonerating them.

A short listed that’s FULL of action!

I've read every single book in this series, and this installment is fresh & new in so many great ways! For one, the new narrator to this story is very fitting because she sounds a bit more grown up & in this book Hope also feels more mature. For one we get to see all the emotions that come when her friends killer gets acquitted & leaves the whole town shaken. Then, when the killer ends up murdered himself, Hope doesn't want anything to do with the investigation. And if you know Hope then you know she's normally the first one on the case!
There are so many new interesting dynamics & topics being explored in this book. There's closure to many running plot lines & the narration really brings all the emotions to life. Although it's a short listen it's chalk full of action & and feels complete. Highly recommend!

GOOD READ, LOOKS TO BE A GOOD SERIES

Killer injustice (Hope Hadley #6), my nineteenth short read from author Meredith Potts, Another cute, well-written & enjoyable clean cozy mystery, the sixth in this series. Well-written & enjoyable, another cute, clean cozy mystery. I was been given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. S.L. Crawley’s talented narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Such A Talented Amateur Sleuth...

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I'm always looking forward to listen to one of Meredith Potts' audiobooks. Her characters are always spunky but never obnoxious and the plots are straight forward and to the point. This book in the Hope Hadley series does not disappoint. Always looking for justice especially when avenging the death of a dear friend, Hope gets wrapped up in this mystery that evolves quite speedily but not without some twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. As usual, the writing is very pleasant and easy to follow and the narration very well interpreted. A quick mystery for those days when you wish to be entertained but want to keep it light and enjoyable. Thumbs up!!!

Great clean mystery

I love this series that is a clean Christian mystery set! The characters have background, writing is well rounded, and it made me laugh too. Finished in one sitting and can't wait to listen to more!

Really Good!

Killer Injustice: Hope Hadley Cozy Mystery (Book 6) by Meredith Potts was very well done! I have listened to each of the audiobooks in this series, and I love the storyline. Little did I know until I started listening to this episode that there is a new narrator! Usually, I don't like when the narrator changes in the middle of a series, but this was quite a pleasant surprise! I feel like this change has brought on a whole new feel to series, causing Hope to transform into a more mature-sounding character, one that listeners will be able to take more seriously as she moves from case to case, instead of the "valley girl" tone in which she spoke throughout Books 1-5. Although I feel narrator Rachel Carr did a nice job as narrator in the first part of the series, I loved listening to new narrator S.L. Crawley! I think this change could potentially attract a whole new group of cozy mystery fans! Great job!

I'm sure I'm similar to most of you in the sense that I don't like when a book I love comes to an end. However, I also don't like when a book drags on and on with unnecessary information or ridiculous details just to fill time and space. I can't tell you how many times I've had to put a book down after realizing I'd read 30 pages of pointless details that were not necessary. Thank goodness that is NOT the case here! :-) I really enjoy reading books by Meredith Potts because she doesn't waste time with fillers. This audiobook is one of the shorter ones she has written, but it is a complete mystery within the pages of this book (meaning it starts and ends here - no cliffhangers, no continuation, no wondering what happens next). The plot is fast moving, and I love being able to decide if I want to listen in the car on the ride to and from work or if I want to listen to it all in one night before bed. With the looooong audiobooks, I'd have to drive to and from work for about 3 months before I finish it. Wayyy too long for me! So, a huge thank you goes out to Meredith Potts for thinking about listeners like me! Yay!

Overall, I rate Hope Hadley Cozy Mystery (Book 6) by Meredith Potts, narrated by S.L. Crawley 5/5 stars! I love the change in narration, and the storyline of this series is super engaging. I recommend this audiobook to those who enjoy cozies or are looking for a shorter one to listen to. I'm definitely looking forward to the release of the next Hope Hadley audiobook!

Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. :-)

Finally justice

Walter has just been found not guilty of Sadie’s murder, Hope’s friend and Walter’s girlfriend. But the day after his release he is found dead. Can Hope find the truth or will she let it go because he deserved to die? A tough decision. The audiobook is great.

More Hope!

This is Hope, and yet, different. For once, she's not really willing to take part in this one. A killer killed? Nope, she'd be glad to let it slide. Except... when Sadie's father confesses, she HAS to do all in her power to free him.

And the main theme here is not to put a murder behind bars, but how we are all affected by a miscarriage of Justice.

So, yes, different, but nevertheless, a great one.

As always, the narration is fantastic.
