Love this story, and loved this narration!!
I read all of these books, and I wanted to get the audio as well. I really liked how this story resolved. Also, Lloyd Thomas is a new to me narrator and he’s great. I’m so glad that I found a new narrator and that he made me enjoy the book even more.

Oh Jon..
Reading this in audio was much better than with my eyes, though the narration is still rough. I've gotten used to it now, so when I get lost on who is talking, I just let it go.
Anyways, in here we have the dynamic duo of Donovan and Jon. They are happily residing together and get called to a case where Jon's long lost Dad is involved.
Their family gets a resolution and all is good.
By now you should know that the mystery is not as important as the relationships but in this one they are called in because a body disappeared. Don't worry, they found it.
But the most important thing is that Cho and Garrett kiss and make the entire thing worth it.

Sherwoods story writing is on point as always, and the narrator voiced the character’s wonderfully. Highly recommend

Very good story, good narrative
The story was fun. I enjoy getting to know more about Jon and Donovan. Adding Garrett and seeing more of Sho gives the story depth.
The two main characters were easy to distinguish between but the narrator only change a little with the other male characters and there was very little to no change with the female characters. I had a hard time distinguishing which characters were talking at times and there was no change if the characters were thinking or talking. Some narrators have a 'narrator voice' for all the internal dialog and/or descriptions and others for speaking, which makes it easier for the listener.

love it
I love all of her works. I really enjoy these, and I'm so happy they're putting more of them on here. it was super upset for a long time they only had book two and four. I mean.....why!!!! so happy.
