This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... A good start of the Christmas season!
The stately voice of the narrator worked really well for this retelling of A Christmas Carol. I would've loved some more nods to the modern day, in which this story is set. I did really enjoy the genderswap of Marley, and the use of diary fragments of Scrooge. A good start of the Christmas season!
