Fun Read

I’m amused at all the complaints about a book that was written THIRTY YEARS AGO and has romance novel vibes. What are you expecting from a book where Harlequin is involved. 😂

Not my cup of tea or coffee either

I’m not a fan of romance novels – I’ve never been. Ordered this in error. When I saw it was Harlequin I decided to give it a try. Excellent performance, Story moves along and readers will like it
Just not for me.

Thank you Karen Cass for narrating this book.

Thank you Tess Gerritsen for writing such an excellent story and book. Although I the female main character was a bit stronger in knowledge.

Disappointing

I was expecting a good murder mystery but got a cheesy romance with a weak story.

Not worth the credit!

I have always been a huge Tess Gerritsen fan. I would love to see her go back to the medical thrillers. I could only at best give this novel two stars. In my opinion the storyline and performance was poor. I would not waste a credit to purchase this book. If you’re desperate for a raid wait until you can get it from the library.

The men are tired stereotypes of 1970’s

Poor male characters. A 30ish female character that is written as if she were 12. Terrible read.

Wish I could return.

Just an hour in, trying to give it a fair shake, but it’s just not good.
