Phenomenal
As a Black woman that is exceptional, but has to work twice as hard to be deemed just as good, this book touched me to my core. I feel seen and I understand Lawre and the choices she made. The descriptive scene setting in this book is beautiful and the story truly resonated with me.

WONDERFUL.
Absolute favorite book of all time.
For lovers of poetry, female rage, and the divinity within it all- it’s a must.
I can’t wait to see more by Shea. Lloyd’s performance was top tier. Will be relistening until the end of time.
