Video Links Are Just Sprinkles on Top

There are a lot of video links scattered throughout the book, I see how it can "interrupt" the listening experience for some people as they feel the need to pause and check out the referenced videos. But in fact, the book is complete in itself, the videos just provide additional facts to show the "logical steps" Dr. Greger has took to arrive at his conclusions in the book, because he doesn't want anyone to just take his word for it. One can perfectly well enjoy the book as it is, and only go check videos when needing a fuller picture.

The manuscript was originally twice as long, but the publisher finds it expensive and unconventional to publish a 1300-page book (or a 50-hour audio). So the "book + videos" format is how Dr. Greger and his team resolve to scram 2 books in 1. It's their way of letting us have all the information at our disposal.

Though I do hope Audible upload the complementary PDF and fix the chapter titles soon.

I think this book is life changing

I bought this book because it is on the bestseller list, and I just turned 60. I was very moved by it and have already started making changes the author suggests. I intend to watch every power point in the attachment. And then buy his first book, for I am also obese. Then I intend to watch his podcasts. And let’s see where I am a year from now.

Science and not hyperbole

Very well written. Extensive, reliable research sources are used to illustrate just why so many Americans are unnecessarily suffering from lifestyle induced illnesses. It's not complicated, nor solved with THE "magical" food or supplement. Suggestion to listeners: While I now admire Dr. Gregor's work, he talks and reads SO fast and slurred that listening at a slower speed is necessary to understand him.

So much information

So much information contained in this book. I feel like I learned so much. I feel like I could listen to this book a couple more times and learn something new each time. A great book to start your healthy lifestyle journey.

consider getting a print version.

The content of this book (like all of Dr Greger's books) is fascinating and extremely informative. I have already made some changes to my diet.

The big issue I have with this audiobook is that it's peppered with video links. Every few minutes, I have to pause the book to write down a link. It's very distracting and makes this book terrible as an audiobook.

If only the links were provided in a PDF attachment to this audiobook, it would have been so much easier to read for me. Please reconsider the format on your next audiobook, Dr. G and nutritionfacts team!

Spent a lot of time looking for PDF which is No where to be found!

Misrepresented included PDF.
Also when I purchased audio, an option to purchase the book was also offered at $17. That no longer seems to exist. Not a good look

Outstanding!

An outstanding unbiased book read by the author! Very in-depth looks at all aspects of longevity from a person not being paid either way. Even the proceeds of the book are donated to charities.

Ashamed I Didn’t Get On This Bandwagon Sooner

What a compelling story. I just wish everyone could read this and we could change the world. I was initially put off by Dr. Greger’s narration, but then it grew on me and I ended up appreciating it.

New science 

As always, excellent review from Dr. Gregor and his team. As a physician myself, the information about micro mRNA’s and NAD was especially interesting. I have the hardcopy of the book as well, and will definitely listen multiple times as I usually do.
I have given it as a gift to family and friends.

Exceptional detailed and informative

while it is a long read, it provides an abundant amount of information on a number of health topics. It extremely well researched and has answered a number of my questions.
