Succinct and interesting and well written

I enjoyed this - though obviously it’s a lot of tragedy. I recommend this if you want a quick ish education.

Liked the Approach Of The Author

This book does not only cover the history of Armenia. Since Armenia was established a long time ago, it's history is very much connected with Greeks, Persians, Romans, Byzantine, Ottomans, Arabs...and more.

A well-written, entertaining history of Armenia.

I took a class in the Armenian language, but found the history of this nation so interesting. This book fleshes out the lessons learned.

Great Reesearched Book

This is about as good of a one-volume history text as you will find. Armenia has a lengthy and complicated history and the author does a good job of providing clarity in his narrative. Armenians are a tough group of survivors.

I like the story very much the history comes alive with the retelling of all the famous people who are part of that history.
I hope that you'll get this retelling of the history because it's is of the of the Mesopotamian culture which is very fascinating.

I love this book. It's well written and it breaks down the Armenian history by century and provides a lot of insight. It's a great read for those who want to learn about Armenian history.

Wonderful historical story telling

Pronunciation is a problem, and desperately needing an update to include the Sumgait massacres, 44 day war in 2020, and the most recent blockade of the Lachin corridor!
Otherwise highly suggest everyone to listen to understand Armenia’s present day struggles.
