Great listen.

Must listen for any Armenian not familiar with what we survived. Very informative for people that never knew anything about it.

Excellent account of Armenian suffering

I was very impressed by all that Armenia had gone through in their amazing history. No matter how many times they get knocked down, they keep getting back up. Even after having nearly 3/4ths of their population wiped out, they keep rising up. Like all Captivating History works, I discover bits of unknown history. I look forward to listening to all the works I can.

A must read!

Loved this audiobook. Very sad yet true description of centuries of struggles of the Armenian people. Turkey to this day continues to actively deny the Armenian Genocide by falsifying history. Unfortunately, they are able to get away with that because they shut everyone's mouth with oil money. Armenia is the only christian country in the way of Erdogan's dream of pan-turkic empire and to this day they continue their carefully orchestrated genocide of christian Armenians as evidenced by their heinous crimes during October 2020 Nagorno Karabakh war, and yet again, they are getting away with it...

distrust of the minorities within the country

. Where many peoples have disappeared in this situation, the Armenians have survived. The Genocide is a painful listen but with a hopeful future. Check it out.

Great overview of Armenian his

For whatever reason & this is stringently on me is that I didn’t see the whole idea. By that, These people & lands are some of the oldest on earth. The importance & what they went through speaks volumes to their ability to survive as a culture.

An authority but uplifting listen

A good overview of Armenian history and the resiliency of a people. Being located in the best territory is both a boon and a bane, as well as being between or in the path of empires
