The useful and insightful

I don't believe I've ever seen Genghis Khan being described as what he was a human being and an unusual warrior and human being ... what he endured and he rose above .this movie exposed aside to a man who really.... was a great man...

it provided financing details.

It is fast and fun to understand -- in that regard, it reminds me of Livey or Herodotus. This is as highly recommended as an AUDIObook as I can think of. If, however, you need history presented with well-developed arguments and theory, state.

Undefeated

You cannot believe the life that forged this leader into one of the greatest conquerors of all time. Suffering beyond belief. Truly an enlightening audible, masterfully acted and presented.

It appears to never end but it does cover many centuries and in some aspect describes us who they were and how they worked.

Great detail

The audible describes the situation shortly before the Mongols captured and held all of China. It does describe in detail the reasons for their inability to defend themselves.

Mongol history, and how it ...

Very careful handling of the violence associated with the Mongol "Golden Horde", and the heritage of the leaders. Serious students of Chinese and Mongol history would find this AUDIObook interesting.

Wonderfully narrated, classic (true!) tale

Really enjoyed listening to this version of the story of the rise of Genghis Khan and his Mongol Empire. Well narrated and evenly paced, it's just as the title claims: captivating.
