Publisher's summary

"Sit tight, lass. I'll find ye."

Ella:

I always pictured my brother's best friend to be impressive - after all, he's a military helicopter pilot whose job is to save people. Then he appears in front of me and my assumptions fly out of the window.

Tattoos on muscles.

Grey eyes and a sexy smirk.

A Scottish accent to die for.

And what's more? He's here to rescue me from my uncle's clutches. My poor sheltered heart stands no chance.

Gordain:

At 17, there's no way this lass is right for me. She's my best friend's sister and five years younger than me. But she's gorgeous. Confident. A musician who plays a violin like it's a part of her.

I've been shot down in a war zone, but nothing makes my heart beat so fast as Ella.

Then she gets the news that in order to inherit, she needs to be wed. How can I fake-marry someone I truly care about?

The third stand-alone instalment in the Marry the Scot contemporary romance series takes you away to big love in the Scottish Highlands. You will adore this modern-day hot Scot and his delicate and determined musician.

Great story and narration

Jolie Vines is a relatively new author to me and I am new to narrator Fergus Ryan whose performance I really enjoyed. From the first chapter until the last I was hooked and was annoyed when real life got in the way of my listening.

I really enjoyed this book and although the haven’t read the previous books in the series, I had no trouble; reading this one as a stand alone. This is Gordain and Ella’s story and it was a captivating one. Gordain is best friend’s with Ella’ brother James and he comes to her rescue when James asks him to help Ella escape from their evil uncle Richard.

I’m not a huge fan of New Adult stories and although Ella is only 17 at the beginning of the book, by the time it ends a number of years have passed which I have to say pleased me.

Both Ella and Gordain have baggage and issues with neither really believing that they are worthy of love. However as the book develops, it is obvious that these two really are meant to be. The secondary characters were entertaining and as soon as time permits I will be looking at the other books in this series.

Ella turned in to a confident and feisty young and really came into her own. I really liked the dominating side of Gordain and truth be told I could have listened to Fergus Ryan all day and night.

Gordain

I downloaded this book because its one of my absolute favorite books & I wanted to make rereading it easy. I FELL IN LOVE. Fergus (aka Frank) is so incredible, absolute must listen anytime I hear his name.

As for the story, G is.... so wonderful and amazing and, just.... do yourself a favor & give it a listen. I promise you won't regret it, even if you don't immediately become obsessed like I did.

Such an amazing Book and Narration!!

This book is absolutely amazing!! I love Ella and Gordain, both have issues stemming from parental figures in their past him from his father and her from her uncle. Luckily they both also have an amazing support system of family from the McCraes and her Brother and Sister in Law. It is awesome to see how these two characters work through their issues and hang ups and come together to form one of the most cohesand lovely couples in this series. i think they are definitely also one of the hottest couples in the series at least in my opinion 😉 The plot is wonderful, fast paced and very well written the main characters, and secondary characters are amazing and I wish I could be a part of this family ❤️ As far as the narration of this book Fergus did a fantastic job and really brought this book to life even though it was a single narrative which hasn't been my favorite form overall, this one was amazing!! Another great addition to your library Jo can't wait to listen to the next ❤️

Gordain can save me ANYTIME!

I truly enjoy the damsel in distress image that Ella creates in her head because Gordain takes it above and beyond. This version of it helps make the image so much clearer than just reading it because the voices add a new aspect! I'm gonna make it a personal goal to listen to every Jolie Scot book because I've enjoyed every one so far
