White Tulips!!

This is a really compelling story. I love how these 3 bounded as a unit..they luckily made each other better individuals who helped keep their demons away!! But, the white tulips were the sign.

Sweet story!

This was such a feel-good story to listen to. Catharina always writes the most swoon-worthy men, she never disappoints. The audio for this one was just perfect.

Brother’s best friend… You know I am all in. This year I have been trying to read more new to me authors so when I got this one I wanted to read it right away. Aria and Gray’s story kept me hooked. The Nyx and Ash part of the story was so good. I can’t wait to get my hands on more books by Catharine Maura.

More than I was expecting

At first, this book seemed like a best friend’s little sister trope, but there’s actually a lot more going on between Aria and Grayson.
When Aria finds herself out of work, Grayson make her an offer she can’t refuse. Move across the country to work for his software engineering firm, and as a bonus stay with him until she gets on her feet. Accepting her dream job is a no brainer but living with the man she’s had a crush on for years…that may cause some problems, especially when Grayson admits his true feelings for her.

The scary way I'm taken aback by the way you never know what characters might do or say.

I love a happy ending and you never fail to deliver; no matter how many turns we are taken to get there.

Bestfriend's Sister + secret identity = 💋

Gosh, this was good! I wasn't sure what to expect. I love the whole bestfriend's sister trope so I was willing to give it a shot. Not only is this a contemporary romance but it's also about found family, pushing past insecurities and learning to trust. It was really well written. It also doesn't fall into the same trope traps that other books who have similar plots do. I was pleasantly surprised with how some of the "issues" are resolved and how the main complication is so unknown unt the third act.

Synopsis: after Aria's boyfriend is discovered cheating she needs a new start. Her brothers best friend offers her that chance through a job opportunity at his coding company. Little does he know that Aria is actually the allusive coder Nix who runs a vigilante website and who he's been working with under his own alias for months. They work together through her website to help those who have been left behind by the justice system. The two of them strike up a friendship through the app all while unknowingly living together while Aria works to rebuild her life. Together they grow closer and struggle to deny the chemistry between them both virtually and in person. This book handles some heavy topics so be aware and check those trigger warnings.


Teddy Hamilton is the male voice actor and honestly, I love him and he is amazing. 10/10

It’s a goodie

It’s not excellent or a masterpiece of any kind but it’s sweet, cute, spicy 🥵, a little sad, and very adorable. I even cried a little so I say it’s worth a credit

Nix and Ash/Grayson and Aria

I won't lie....this book moved slowly at first but shot out of a cannon towards the end. I loved that Aria was a non-traditional heroine, and Grayson never saw her as anything less than brilliant.
I liked the story well enough but loved the narration. The plot twist was amazing, and I wish there had been more jaw-dropping moments. A definite re listen, and I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

Trouble Finishing

I really wanted to love this story, but it was a tough one to finish. How can smart people be so stupid? The constant insecurities throughout the whole story burnt me out. I understood them at first, but by chapter 40, I was over it. By chapter 56 I was really over it and started to struggle to finish the book.
