Very hot cowboy/Marshall love story
Loved the law enforcement cowboy angle, couldn’t have a better hero in my book. There was great characters, lots of smokin hot sex, a good mystery. The only things that kept it from a 5 was the cliche way they both wanted to tell their secrets to each other but kept putting it off until someone else told one of them. And dropping a gun in a battle for your life, come on.

Waste of my time
What a waste. Book is very long and frustrating. Lily was not likeable at all. She was stubborn, compulsive and not too smart. Made so many poor decisions to count. Too much drama, angst and happy parts too far in between and short. I prefer strong female protagonists with intelligence. Lily didn't fit that bill period.

Very slow moving. Story could have been cut in half. Had to speed up just to get through it.
