Publisher's summary

Not realizing he just died from deadly collision, a man flees into a hellish realm to hide from Heaven’s beckoning light. God can rescue him, but escaping this dark world is only the beginning. The greatest test will come as he confronts his broken relationships and sees himself and others in truth. Only then can he overcome the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual temptations that prevent him from reaching his God-given potential.

In a journey through spirit worlds where faulty beliefs, past pain, and lingering addictions continue to limit the progress of departed spirits, Heaven Will Find You is a story of how God’s unrelenting grace will pursue every lost soul until they are drawn into everlasting love.

Inspired by the research of hundreds of near-death experiences, this book will transform the way you view spiritual growth in a universe grounded in God’s love.

Riveting

It gave me the opportunity to think and feel so much. It was a new way to see life after death and how much we are loved. Our agency is also 100% taken into account. Highly recommend this story.

Life changing book

This book has been an inspiration. I just finished it again for the fourth time. It has changed the way I see the world and how I treat others. The story line is great and engaging and the author is brilliant in the way he brings it all together. I look forward to reading it again.

Still thinking about it

I first read this book years ago when it was published under a different title, and in the following years have found myself repeatedly thinking about the afterlife this book presented. I love the ideas and they feel so true to me. I also adopted his visual of the broken vase mending itself as a touchstone for how I view my connection with family and friends. This is a book I've recommended to others probably more than any other book. I was delighted to see it in audio form since I know that's how most of my friends consume books at this point in our lives. It is such a quick listen, and the reader did a great job. I thought his tone, rhythm and inflections were spot on (my only complaint is I'm not a fan of the laughing, etc when it is written that a character laughed, but that is probably something most people don't notice or care about and almost all audio makes that same choice). I've now started recommending the audiobook version to anyone who will listen to me. I love it.

Deeply moving!

I’ve read this book several times because it is overflowing with deep wisdom and truths that have brought me peace. It is beautifully written and sobering at how accurately the author describes the human experience and tendencies. My whole perspective on life after death has changed to far more expansive and love centered way. This is a must read!

Layered view of the afterlife

I love the new title for this book! I read it years ago and the title change better reflects the hopeful message you will find when you listen. The book imagines an afterlife where you are never out of reach of God's love, no matter how dark your mind or surroundings are. I love the many chances to change and accept God's love that are offfered to the main character - there was never a "last chance". The imagery of the broken vase as a symbol of how generations are connected is one I think about often. One of my favorite lines is when the teacher explains "God gives. And you recieve or choose not to receive, the choice is always yours." The author does an amazing job of describing situations, feelings, and places that are abstract so you feel like you are experiencing a glimpse of what could be.
