Fantastic Information and Sustainable Lifestyle

I wasn't sure if I was going to agree with a Nutritarian lifestyle until I listened to this entire book. Wow! I couldn't not have purchased this audiobook at a better time in my healthy journey. First learning form Medical Medium, who put to rest some things that are not understood or discovered by science, yet, set me up to take full advantage and truly appreciate the information in Eat To Live and what it means to live a Nutritarian lifestyle.

These suggestions are similar to the lifestyle we lived when we started our own family 25 years ago and we were all at our leanest, including our two daughters. However, we still had our ups and downs with our health, as we consuming the following several times daily; no-fat yogurt, skim milk, frozen yogurt, chicken breasts, turkey breast, fish, shellfish, and egg whites, very little fruit and definitely not enough leafy greens.

We have been living a whole food plant based lifestyle for 16 months and have loved the health changes, but still felt there was something missing, as our weight and body fat would fluctuate. So excited to return to our previous lifestyle, because it was easy and effective for a lean body. However, this time it will be a plant based Nutritarian version and I believe it will not only help us achieve our ideal weight, but also maintain the health we have regained thanks to our plant based lifestyle and Medical Medium protocol. There will be occasional exceptions, the same as we use to do for one meal once a week or less and always from outside our home. So excited to see if these changes yield us the same, almost effortless, results and maintenance?

Education and Nutrition

maybe the best nutrition book I read so far. very educational. This book had me thinking about how important education is, and wandering what other things am I doing wrong in my life because of miss information. I like to think that the information in this book will change my life for ever. Thank you for sharing this information in such a simple way with still the scitific factors.

In 5 weeks I lost 18 pounds and was already in pretty good shape. Was never hungry and have felt so much better. Did it to live longer not because I needed to medically.

LOTS OF INFORMATION

What did you like best about this story?

There is a TON of information in this book, Dr. Fuhrman knows nutrition.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Love him as a doctor, but pretty dry as a narrator..........

This is one book I have done better understanding in print. Don't get me wrong, this man is AWESOME in his research and passion for helping people really understand how nutrition affects us.
Lots of science and information, but still really hard to listen too. I should note, that I had to really make myself sit down, and absorb the book, but it was worth it! If Dr. Fuhrman was lecturing within 200 miles of me, I would be there!
